Anima Weapon Enhancements
Anima weapons can be enhanced by speaking with Ulan in Idyllshire (X:6.4 Y:4.7).



Items necessary to enhance anima weapons can be reviewed by accessing Ulan's note in your inventory.

Enhancements to anima weapons can be transferred to reconditioned anima weapons by completing the quest "A Dream Fulfilled."

Any physical damage, magic damage, strength, dexterity, vitality, intelligence, and mind attributes on your anima weapon will transfer over to your reconditioned weapon, and will be raised to a value befitting its new item level. Please note that all other attributes will be replaced by those awarded upon completing the quest.

The Aquapolis is a special instance that can be accessed after finding and opening treasure coffers obtained from dragonskin treasure maps. Here, players will have the chance to explore long-abandoned ruins filled with treasure. A test of skill and luck, players will be required to fight their way to the final chamber to reap rich rewards!

Entering the Aquapolis
Players will have the chance to transport themselves and any nearby party members to the Aquapolis by opening treasure chests located using dragonskin treasure maps.



Upon opening these chests, should players either encounter a server error or be unable to enter within the specified time limit due to instances being fully occupied, they will receive the master thief's map. Players with the master thief's map in their possession will be able to summon a teleportation ward by using the general action Dig near the area indicated on the map.

Progressing through the Aquapolis
Treasure chests located in the Aquapolis are armed with traps, which, when triggered, will release enemies from their cages. Upon defeating them, the player who used the dragonskin treasure map will be able to open the treasure chest and retrieve the reward and a Vault Key within.

The Vault Key can be used to open one of the two available doors. Should your party be lucky enough to choose the correct one, you will be allowed to progress on to subsequent chambers , and eventually fight your way to the final chamber.



Leaving the Aquapolis
Players will be removed from Aquapolis should one of the following occurs:


Please note that during battle, incapacitated party members will not be returned to the starting area, and must be revived using either actions or items. In the event the party is defeated, all players will be removed from the Aquapolis and cannot reenter the instance.

Rewards
There are three tiers of rewards in the Aquapolis. Chambers one through three contain the lowest tier of rewards, chambers four through six the second tier, and the final chamber contains the highest tier of rewards. Players will also be granted rewards of a higher grade upon defeating rare enemies that appear.

The flowerpot can be placed within free company estates, private estates, and even private chambers. This furnishing allows players to grow the exact same plants and crops as those in garden plots indoors. In addition to this, there are certain seeds which can only be cultivated in flowerpots. These plants will yield materials to craft gear.
* Intercrossing cannot be done using flowerpots.

Players can now purchase flowerpots from the following NPCs:

Seeds
Players will be able to obtain a variety of seeds with which they can begin cultivating their crops. Different types of seeds will yield different types of crops. Seeds will occasionally appear at certain locations where their plants yield crops.


Soil
Players will also need to prepare soil for their flowerpots. Soil type and grade will affect yield quality and quantity.

Flowerpot Plants
Players can use their flowerpot to cultivate seeds, which will yield materials for gear as well as flowers for their estate flower vases. Oldrose seeds, which can only be cultivated in flowerpots, are available in eight color variations, and players will be able to influence the ratio of these colors and the total crop yield by using the following fertilizers:


* Fertilizers other than those listed above may be used on flowerpot plants, but will not influence color.

Fully grown plants can be plucked from flowerpots and placed in estate flower vases.

Flower vases can be purchased from the following NPCs:


Placement and Functions
Flower vases can be placed in free company and private estates, as well as private chambers. By selecting the vase, players can place flowers cultivated in flowerpots in them.


Players can remove the flowers placed in their flower vases by targeting the vase and selecting Remove Flowers.
*Removed flowers will be permanently lost.

Party Role Requirements
Parties matched automatically via the Duty Finder will comprise 1 tank, 2 healers, and 5 DPS. Parties formed prior to registration must also meet these role requirements. However, these role requirements are not required when registering as an alliance.

Rewards
You can receive only one reward item per week for completing duties in the Weeping City of Mhach. In the event you are awarded an item from the loot list, you relinquish your right to vie for all remaining items regardless of whether you selected Need or Greed. If time expires and a reward item is obtained automatically, this will also count toward the weekly limit.
* Reward eligibility is reset every Tuesday at 1:00 a.m. (PDT).

Each party in the alliance will receive its own treasure chest, the contents of which will be identical regardless of the route taken.
* Players cannot open a treasure chest belonging to another party.

Completion Reward
Upon completing the Weeping City of Mhach, players can also earn a separate reward once per week. This reward can be exchanged with Bertana in Idyllshire (X:5.9 Y:5.2) for items used to enhance equipment purchased with Allagan tomestones of lore.
* Reward eligibility is reset every Tuesday at 1:00 a.m. (PDT).

The Raid Finder allows players to register for instanced raids without having to form a party. By selecting a desired raid and matching requirements, players will be matched automatically with other players spanning multiple Worlds within the same data center. The Raid Finder will be unlocked when speaking with the NPC who would normally unlock the entrance to the specified instanced raid. It can then be accessed by speaking with the NPC or via the Duty tab of the Main Menu.

The following Savage raids have been added to the Raid Finder:

Please note that the Raid Finder must be used to register for Savage raids. Furthermore, when exiting the Fist of the Son (Savage), the Cuff of the Son (Savage), and the Burden of the Son (Savage), you will be returned to the location where you first registered.

Requirements
Players need only have access to at least one Savage raid in order to unlock the Raid Finder. In the case of Alexander: Midas (Savage), players must speak with Lightkix Eyesfixed in the Dravanian Hinterlands (X:20.6 Y:26.1). Please keep in mind, however, that the Raid Finder will become inaccessible when the next series of Savage raids is introduced. At that time, players must unlock the next Savage raid to gain access to the Raid Finder.

Party Composition
When queueing solo or with less than a full party, the Raid finder will match together 2 tanks, 2 healers, 1 ranged physical DPS, 1 ranged magical DPS, 1 melee DPS, and 1 other DPS.The fourth, unspecified DPS class or job to be matched will depend on the settings selected when registering for a raid.



Please note that the above composition requirements are not imposed upon preformed parties.
* Players who have yet to complete the selected raid will take priority in the queue.

Language Setting
Language settings from the Duty Finder will be carried over to the Raid Finder
* Loot rules can only be changed when registering as a full party.

Progress and Reward Acquisition
Upon registering for and completing a given Savage raid, your weekly progress will be updated to that point, preventing you from obtaining rewards from previous raids.

Example: A player registers for and completes Alexander - The Cuff of the Son (Savage) but has yet to enter Alexander - The Fist of the Son (Savage) that week. In this case, even if the player goes back to clear Alexander - The Fist of the Son (Savage), they cannot obtain rewards until the weekly reset.

Reward eligibility is reset every Tuesday at 1:00 a.m. (PDT).
* In the event a raid is underway when reward eligibility is reset, players will still be permitted to vie for items during the upcoming week.

* When undertaking a duty utilizing item level sync, the item level of any gear exceeding the maximum item level will be adjusted accordingly. Unlike character level sync, however, gear parameters will not be subject to further reduction beyond that brought about by the item level decrease. Furthermore, materia bonuses will be ignored during PvP encounters, regardless of the item level of gear affixed with materia.
* Players who abandon a Frontline campaign (not including players who join a match in progress or are vote kicked) will receive a penalty. Players so penalized will be unable to register for Frontline campaigns or the Wolves' Den for 30 minutes.


Participating in Campaigns
Players can queue to enter Frontline campaigns alone, or in a party of up to eight players. Although there are no role restrictions when queuing as a party, all party members must be affiliated with the same Grand Company.

To improve matching efficiency, 72 (three teams of 24) or 24 (three teams of eight) combatants may be matched together depending on the number of available participants.

Role Requirements
When participating in Frontline campaigns, there are no role requirements or restrictions for parties. Moreover, players can freely change jobs or classes at their Grand Company's landing.
* As with the three main cities, the recast time of skills will not be reset when changing classes or jobs.

Starting Points
The landing point for each team will be randomly assigned from one of three locations.

Rules of Engagement
Players can increase their team's rating by occupying Allagan tomeliths, destroying icebound tomeliths, and defeating players from the opposing teams. The first team to accumulate the required amount of data will be declared the winner, and the remaining teams will be ranked according to their respective ratings.

Allagan Tomeliths
During a Frontline shatter campaign, players aid their company by retrieving data from tomeliths. Allagan tomeliths will be either "Unoccupied" or "Occupied" depending on whether or not a Grand Company has occupied them. By remaining in close proximity to the tomeliths at these locations, players can occupy them to retrieve their data. However, the tomeliths may become unoccupied should enemies come within proximity of one controlled by your team, or vice versa. Occupying a tomelith will reward your team with data, and further data will be rewarded continuously based on the number of tomeliths your team currently occupies.



Icebound Tomeliths
Icebound tomeliths contain data and dot the playing field. They will be inactive at the start of the campaign, and will activate at random after a fixed amount of time. Engaging Opposing Teams
By defeating players from opposing teams, players can retrieve data while at the same time decreasing the amount of data the opposing team holds.

Adrenaline Rush
Adrenaline rush will replace the limit break action during Frontline shatter campaigns. Unlike the limit break, adrenaline rush is unaffected by the actions of party members, and can be used by single players after filling the adrenaline gauge. It can then be activated using Limit Break located under the General tab of the Actions & Traits interface. The adrenaline rush action performed will depend on your role.

Battle High and Battle Fever
Battle High and Battle Fever are buffs awarded for a certain number of consecutive KOs. However, changing classes, logging out, or being defeated yourself will reset the counter towards acquiring either buff. Players who defeat another player under the effect of battle high or battle fever will be rewarded additional data.

Player Icons
All players engaged in combat, including those experiencing battle high or battle fever will appear on the map and minimap when nearby.

Retaliation
Incapacitated players will be returned to their Grand Company's landing, where they will be allowed to rejoin combat after a short delay. This will not incur a weakness penalty, but the delay before you can rejoin the battle will lengthen each time you fall.

Furthermore, players will be invulnerable until they leave their Grand Company's landing.

Mounts
Players are free to use mounts during Frontline campaigns. However, players taking damage while mounted will be inflicted with the Heavy status effect.
* Flying mounts cannot be used to fly during Frontline campaigns. Furthermore, two-person mounts cannot be ridden.

Rewards
When a campaign has ended, players will receive PvP EXP, Wolf Marks, and Allagan tomestones of esoterics and lore

Mentor statuses are now separated into categories so that players can search for a mentor specialized in their play style. Players who meet the qualifications to become mentors can select from one of four different mentor status icons using Edit Search Info in the Player Search menu. Players who are already mentors can also set their status in the same manner.
