Link to his daily livestream, usually 6pm-6am: http://www.twitch.tv/nl_Kripp

He downed him w/ a wizard partner at 4:44AM EST to an audience of 44,350

This answers the unofficial challenge set forth by Blizz[Jay Wilson] when they said Hardcore Inferno is likely unbeatable.

They were saying Jay Wilson will meet whoever beats Inferno Diablo on Hardcore. Kripp was like "Come on Jay fly me out to Cali, I need a vacation." I hope he does, that would be a pretty cool publicity stunt for the cost of a plane ticket and hotel.

Was fun to watch it happen, and Athene's been in their channel since then discussing various things from Youtube partnerships, Razer sponsorship, to his $1M raised for charity, etc etc.

Bashiok's immediate denial of the achievement was pretty lame. Whether true or not, the way he worded it is something I'd expect from a hater, not a Blizzard employee... let alone the D3 community manager.

Edit: They're discussing a challenge between many different people, a 1-60 race on hardcore where you have no outside help, only using what you get in your game yourself solo.

I hated this guy with a passion allready. That comment just added fuel to the fire. I hope he catches the plague or something horrible.

I meant Krip (?). I guess he's just someone who likes to stream stuff.

BTW, I never pictured Bashiok looked like that. Hah!

The post about his world first on reddit was full of people hating on him. I dunno why people hate him so much.  He doesn't seem to be a douche and he does pretty informative vids on barbs on his YouTube channel.

I just chalk up the hate for him Becuase it's the Internet.

Ahh.. Krip started a stream on his character and made a name for himself by being good and interesting? I think that's the gist though someone else can fill in the blanks.

Here is what Bashiok said:

People think that was the first HC Inferno clear? Weird. Webcams r 2 legit 2 quit. hay HAY

We don't publicly announce/recognize world firsts. I'm just surprised that was the first one that was publicized.

Kripp has been a "big deal" long before D3.  He's a Blizzard fanboy and more well known for his Hunter videos / guides.

He is worshiped by several people in this guild.  I am pretty sure that if Huntera had a uterus, he would have Kripp's children.
To be determined.

Okay reading through the drama, the only part I really agree with is that Kripp should give more credit to the team of people that supported him, and especially his partner.
To be determined.

He did briefly in the twitch stream shortly after the kill. I think he's going to come out with a youtube video today talking about the kill, strategies, and then shout outs to all the people that helped him. He's always telling people to check out Krippi's stream on twitch and his youtube channel.

Not only has Kripparrian been very entertaining to watch, I've learned a lot from watching him play his Barbarian as well as how to cheese certain things. For example Throw Weapon Stupefy OMG lol, that skill is pretty OP in Inferno. Champion packs kill each other it's hilarious. Bonesplitter in Act 2 can't pass the end of the bridge, so you just clear the opposite side while he sits there and then you can do target practice on him. As a melee I was able to get close enough without getting hit and reach with Shift+Attack, or if you want just have your merc kill him. Siegebreaker if you charge inside of him, at his feet, he can't hit you with his swiping attacks. There's a few more but I think you guys get the idea.

I've tried watching other people on twitch and they're just boring as hell. Like Kungen who is supposed to be the most popular, the dude didn't say a word for like 30 minutes, and didn't do anything interesting, was like a zombie. Kripp actually reads chat while he's playing, as long as he isn't progressing through Act3/4, and answers questions or maybe jokes around with what people say in chat. Also the guys he plays with in mumble are interesting as well.

I'm totally confused by this comment from him too. I'd like to believe Kripp was world first, not because I'm a fanboy(I just heard about him 2 days ago) but I'd ASSUME not many folks would have the resources to do this. Secondly, I'd figure nobody would keep it under wraps... And thirdly I don't get why Bashiok is bashing him with an MC Hammer song. I don't know what to make of it.
