Welcome MaGz! Since you've held every position in the game what's your favorite and what aspect of EVE got you interested in the game initially?
  2. Welcome Ertic! You seem to be pretty interested in PVP. Is that what got you interested in EVE initially?
  3. I didn't reply to the reddit post but it is what prompted me to apply. What caught my attention was that you guys were interested in PVP and had other new players. Even though I've played EVE on 3 separate occasions they were not very long so I still consider myself a pretty new player. Most of my time spent in EVE so far as been doing random missions that involve blowing up NPCs so my character is skilled pretty heavily(as skilled as you can be with only about 4k SP) towards combat, particularly missiles. I enjoyed meeting you as well. I'm glad to hear your 0.0 experience has been positive. When I first got into EVE I was a bit scared to venture into low and null sec. To this day I don't think i've been in anything less than 0.5. My favorite strategy game would have to be SC2. I'm really looking forward to the LOTV expansion coming out next month. I like both types of games but I tend to play more real time ones than turn based. My degree is in computer science. I live in TX which has quite a large tech scene so it was not hard finding a job. My favorite method of consuming caffeine would have to be coffee and RedBull. Coffee in the morning and RedBull for the rest of the day
  4. Hi all, I've been a gamer for almost as long as I can remember. I was fortunate enough to have easy access to a computer at a very young age so I'm a PC gamer at heart. The first game I can remember falling in love with was a turn based strategy game by Red Orb Entertainment called Warlords 3. Ever since then I've always spent the majority of my free time playing games. I can't imagine not playing games. Strategy games tend to be my favorite. EVE has always fascinated me but since it required a monthly fee to play I was not in a good enough position financially until about 5 years ago to play. EVE was part of one of the steam sales in 2010 so I decided it was a good time to jump in. I liked the game but I was about to graduate and needed to focus on getting a job and moving so I quit. About 3 years later I found out some friends I met back in middle school played and decided to pick it up again and joined their small corp. The corp ended up not being very active so I quit EVE again. It has been two or so years since I last played EVE and I still get the urge to play every once in a while. It's like that itch you get that just won't go away until you scratch it, so I'm jumping into EVE for the third time. - Ronran
