  1. It seems like the other dudes have covered most of everything. Nice to see you on the forum Dmitri, and I look forward to flying with you in game. I guess my one bike related question is...are tassels coming out of the handlebars too much bling or are they okay if I color coordinate them with the bell and basket on the front? (kidding. rock on with your cycling self).
  2. Ah, no wonder she's cute then. Such smiley dogs.
  3. I know nothing about FF but I do know cute dogs. That is a cute dog! What breed is he/she? Thanks and welcome to the forums!
  4. Good answers. I like a space bro who appreciates a good sandwich. I look forward to flying with you.
  5. Welcome to the forums! It's always nice to make new space friends. I'm sure folks will be along soon to ask you questions and such. I just have one random question, which, much like the bones, tells me nothing.... favorite sandwich?
  6. Hi Verrim and welcome to the forums. Good scouts and tackle are always nice to have, but the boss has a point when it comes to diversifying skills. Just when I think I have what I need trained along comes another ship I want to fly Some random questions: 1. What kind of dogs do you have? (I'd ask about the cats but I wouldn't understand the answer as I know jack about cats) 2. What's your favorite ship to fly in Eve and why? I look forward to flying with you. We've gotten some great new bros lately, and it's always nice having more.
  7. Welcome! Now lets go blow things up
  8. I can respect that, I just liked the point of the original story, where we, the human, once the norm have become the monster, while not necessarily perceiving the change in ourselves or society which caused the role reversal.
  9. Much like the adaption of I Am Legend, it was entertaining but not really true to the original. Not as far off as World War Z but I try to look at them on their own merits while pretending they are unrelated to avoid disliking one for not being true to the other.
  10. I agree, Elric would make a great movie; it's right up there with the Witcher for protagonists needing time on the big screen. I have read several of Asimov's short stories including Bicentennial Man, but I haven't read the Foundation series yet, which makes no sense. I really need to get off my butt and read them.
  11. I'll echo what Grieve said, "Welcome to the forums" I hope to fly with you soon!
  12. I haven't tried the three wood and will have to look for it. Thanks for the tip. I'm a big fan of the Highland Park.
  13. Why hello there fellow scotch drinker. Favorite bottle? Failing that, your current dram? I'm looking forward to some inebriated flying with you
  14. I think we're twins! Tolkien is great and love him or not you have to give him credit for what he gave to the genre much like with Asimov and sci-fi. Thank you for mentioning Elric, I thought I was the only one who remembered him and Melnibone. I wrote a paper on I, Robot when I was 12 and it hooked me on Sci-fi. Your sandwiches are on point. Im a big fan of flat 'breads' - pita, tortillas etc. They are so convenient. I had a bahn mi crepe a few weeks back - folded up and eaten by hand. So good. I like you already space brother.
  15. Welcome to the corp. I look forward to flying with you, and it will be interesting watching you and the other market moguls at work. It sounds like you've led quite the interesting life, and it was very enjoyable to read about. Let's see...a few random questions to get to know you better... 1. What are your favorite fantasy books/series/authors? 2. Same as above for Sci-Fi 3. Favorite kind of sandwich? Welcome and let the explosions begin!
  16. Best of luck to you finishing up your Ph. D. I'd love to live in San Diego given the weather and the beer; I just need to win the lottery to be able to afford a house. I imagine on a grad student budget it can be challenging at times. Welcome back to Eve from another former CFC person. You've found a great group and I hope to see you in space soon.
  17. Huh, that was a very practical answer Em. I wish you the best of luck on your farm.
  18. I salute your perseverance. I was ready to burn Jita in half that time. Em - favorite farm animal for your regenerative farm? (cool idea btw)
  19. Welcome Em. I look forward to flying with you. Maybe one day you can explain how to station trade without succumbing to the urge to choke everyone who . 01 isks you. I have yet to find the patience for it.
  20. Sorry to see you go man. I wish you all the best. It kind of makes me want to get back into table top RPGs again. Ah, memories. Good luck and role play safely
  21. Thank you very much. I appreciate how welcome you all have made me feel. You're an awesome group of folks.
  22. OOPs, sorry. I didn't realize it was your thing. *returns mantle* This is what happens when I am bored at work
  23. Very well answered indeed. Corn soft tortillas definitely exist and are great, though hard taco shells are an abomination. That said, I too tend to fall on the flour side of the fence, unless I know who is making the corn tortillas. Answer two was great. I am biased as my wife works for Komatsu, but we are much more a hard rock area so that makes sense. As or question 3, you are totally on point, as pumpkin pie is the bomb and only barely surpassed by Key Lime. I think you and I are going to get along just fine.
  24. Welcome! Good tackle is always nice, and I'm sure Grieve would like some company from another tackle bro. Random questions having nothing to do with Eve: Corn or flour tortillas? Cat or Komatsu? Cake or pie?
