We are all laid back and enjoy each others company. I'm sure you'll fit in and be talking in no time. As for healing stuff, we run holy pally and holy priest regularly. As we continue into heroic, we can definitely benefit from having a third healer with your experience.

Hello South of Heaven, My name is Dan and im a former member of the wow raiding team during parts of Cataclysm and nearly all of Mists of Pandaria. Its been about two years since ive been a contributing member of the forums. I was relatively disinterested in wow for ahwile and between finishing school and relocating across my state, i didnt really have the time to commit to wow for almost a year. When WoD released I returned to raid with a few friends from previous guilds and it was nice, but missing the community that SoH has always offered its members. I'm looking to rejoin the wow chapter as a member for its sunday night raids and whatever else i can fit into my schedule. As well as being active in the forun community. Wow related stuff: I currently raid as a resto shaman. Ive cleared Highmaul on normal and heroic and have killed mythic kargath. Im looking to rejoin the guild on my alt holy paladin (654 ilvl) and help kill some bosses on sunday nights. Thanks Also, i hate winter.

Interesting. We've had some dreadful luck gettting Conq tokens to drop, so I have 0 tier pieces so far. Although, I still like to use T14 4 piece because it's still super strong. Once we get some heroic tier, it will be much harder to resist the change but for now, I prefer T14.

I see that you got a Heroic Tortos kill the same night as us. congrats. How well did you feel that healing assignment worked out for your raid?

Hey Zombie, thanks for putting in the app. I'd like to know more about this situation. If you wouldn't mind it laying out for us. It's a little unclear exactly what went down. As far as your logs are concerned. Your Megaera kill was a bit disappointing. You didn't make very good use of your throughput cooldowns. You used Divine Favor once, and didn't even use Avenging Wrath or Guardian of Ancient Kings. You also didn't use Divine Protection at all over the course of the fight. The 40% reduced magic damage taken is amazing for reducing the damage you take during rampages. I also see you decided to run with Eternal Flame and Divine Purpose. I'd argue both of those talents are pretty weak on this encounter. With all the burst aoe going out during Rampage and Acid Rain, using Light of the Dawn is definitely going to do more healing than spreading hots around. Holy Avenger is just way better as well, you control when you gain your holy power and you gain a 30% healing buff, perfect burst for situations as I mentioned. Could you also explain what fights you like to use Holy Prism and how useful you find the Flash of Light glyph?

Hey Araenith, thank for putting in the app I reviewed your logs and they are pretty solid. You do a good job of getting multiple uses out of your cooldowns, which any paladin should be striving for. Your throughput is good and would be even better if your guild wasn't running 7 healers on some fights. What are your thoughts on talents like Unbreakable Spirit or Sacred Shield? How do you feel about using a spirit trinket as opposed to double int trinkets? I'd argue that glyph of divine plea is a viable glyph choice. On fights where you don't need a glyphed divine protection, it is very strong. You waste more mana casting -50% healing spells during the 9 sec duration, and you certainly don't want to have to pop cooldowns just to offset the penalty. On every normal fight so far I've found you can easily plan when to use it, without any significant risk of death to your raid. Thanks again. Good Luck
