Didn't like FFXIII at all. Never finished it... so I didn't get the followup(s). I did, however, love FFX back in the day. Enough to go through it twice. It's basically that and FFVII for me. So I knew I'd be enjoying this before I got it, i was mainly just commenting on the HD part of it. I think it's really well done!

Though twin is at least partially correct. I used to try almost everything and hate most of it. I'm much more selective now! The list of things I've played to completion is pretty short (though sweet!) but my track record is much better recently. =)

Oh I know Spoony, he does have some funny stuff I've seen! Couldn't disagree more here though, and I'd go so far as to say I'm in the definite majority too. I've always seen it in the "best" lists, and it's been one of the most anticipated and wanted remakes. Didn't even realize some people hated it, truth be told!

I have the Logitech Mech keyboard. It's still super massive but no more fingers under the keys while bored. It looks super rugged/tonka truck -- I feel very 7 yr old boy with it.

I think I need to switch back to Logitech fully, yes. Though with real headphones and a DAC/Amp.

Logitech is best, in the long run, simply because their stuff doesn't break.

I feel like Cal spends less than 25% of his life actually awake.

Wait wait wait, I was wrong. Spray 1part soap, 40 parts water, 9 parts alcohol. Rinse it (spray water) and spray the soap mix again and rinse. I was wrong, you can't get sestemic sprays in canada without a license and can't harvest for 2 weeks after spraying with a serious chemical. The soap mix is what my family uses for our (disgustingly large) vegetable garden.

Haha Negido, I'm not in Illinois... it's the only 24/7 poison center in North America! She ate part of a leaf of a mini-eggplant plant we recently purchased, that I put inside temporarily due to high winds tearing it to shreds. We're not plant people. I had one TINY moment of inattention. I didn't sleep at all but she's fine. Phew. Pardon my French, but fuck that plant!

To be precise the plant was shut in a bathroom we never use, but I had to go get one small item out of the cabinet there and she ran in while my back was turned. Saw her about a minute later and damage was done. Eggplant is part of the nightshade family (as nerds we all know what nightshade means...) so I panicked. She didn't get enough apparently.

Make sure it is a tree that doesn't drop a lot of trash.  My neighbors have a river birch that overhangs my roof, drops pollen cones that look like dead worms, clogs my gutters even with the gutter screens and drops small branches all the time.  It is the #1 tree that I am allergic to.  I want that tree dead.

I have a very nice weeping cherry, it does not get tall, but the blooms do not last long enough.  The blooms on the crabapples that are in the neighborhood last much longer and the tree is a good size.  If I was to plant another tree it would be a crabapple. 

I should have checked this post before now! We did buy our tree today, Japanese Lilac (Syringa reticulata). I saw the Dolgo crabapple Tiny, because it looks similar when in flower. We may get one for our backyard actually, after discussing with a super nice employee who guided us on this tree planting adventure (omg we knew so little). Delivery is Saturday. I'll post pics after we put it in! Lilah your advice is spot on and we made that clear when asking, didn't want anything dropping over driveways etc. and certainly no sap or cones etc. So lilac up front and perhaps the crabapple in the yard.
