Thanks again for fun time last night everyone!
So here is the deal, My guild Sacrifice has decided to fold up and its remaining members apply to a new guild. It was a very hard decision as we are all RL Friends or Family. We were never all that big, maybe 15 players at our peak but we managed to get our guild to level 17. We are all mature family folk who enjoy a good past time without the major drama and hoohaa. We have been together in every MMO we've played over the past 10 years and so we hope to all be accepted into a home. I feel confident with everyone in my guild and know they will show thier honor and integrity both on and off the battlefield.
So without further adu...let me talk a bit about myself.
Traxx Trueshot is a Rank 40/38 Shadow Warrior with all the Anniahlator gear and some purple drops to go along with them. I don't remember how long ago I hit 40, but i've been pretty active in RvR the whole time. Not sure how many keeps i've taken but I know its a lot....I wish I could give out my gold bags because I hate seeing them wasted. I love getting in the fight, and rather look for the real battle then play Keep/BO Tag, but whatever the situation calls for I will be there. I also have a level 24 Knight (Vaxxor) and 28 Warrior Priest (Aartemis) that I keep in Tier 3 in case I need to stir up some zone taking in there. I dont actively level them, and Vaxxor has become an RvR only alt, to try and keep him in T3 as long as possible. I've run WB's in T3 and have actively pushed for RvR groups whenever I am there.
What I am looking for is a guild in which I can make a differance. A guild that takes an active part in the war on the server and likes the aspect of rvr fighting. Defended/Defending Keeps and Open field battles/BO's are something I really enjoy. I have not gotten to do any level 40 dungeons yet, so I look forward to taking my lesser ward gear and getting some upgrades.
On a personal note, My name is Gary and I am a Network/Internet specialist. I work for an International company where I am responsible for all their LAN/WAN/INTERNET needs over all the offices. I've always been a fantasy buff and like everything from sci-fi to D&D. Love to read books with some of my favorites being the Salvatore and Hickman/Weis series.
I've been playing PC games for a long time...way way back...Yes the days when Zork was in a box on the shelf in a store. If you know what a Babble Fish is and where it goes , then you probably are as old as I am. =P
I've run my own BBS back in the day where online play was putting in your daily moves and waiting till the next day. Heh. Enjoyed the Diablo/Warcraft/Starcraft craze before heading off to Ultima Online. I played almost every MMO with some of my favorites being UO and DAOC (Palomides). I did have long runs in EQ/EQ2/WOW and SWG as well. On a slightly different note, I enjoy stand alone RPG's as well. I had a run with Neverwinter Nights and for a while even ran the Stratics NWN site.
How's that for long winded? Ok, lets close this up... As I said, i'm a family man, and have 4 kids. My wife likes to play MMo's with me too which is great! My co-leader "Stymey" (35/35 IB) is my Brother in law, as is "Hooda" (40/41 WP). So gaming is certainly in our family.
