Ok glad you caught what you could've done better. Trinkets are def a boost but they still want give u 20k either. I saw that healing look little off. I dont know maybe its me , always want bring best to a progression fight. Im not saying you had to use it for all attempts but this whole week you only used 300 food once. As long you have 2-3 stacks per week you be fine as you will be ask to switch to it at times, Personally what I do is, use cobra to refresh if cast time is at or lower then about 1.3sec or I need focus. Otherwise manually refresh if you have very high focus during BW so you don't focus cap.. Why do you have Rapid fire and Berserking casting at the same time? As a general rule for haste buff effects, its better to spread them out. This could also be why your damage was little lower as well on durmu. Your waiting full minute to use readiness when you can still get 3 kcs on your first bw. Amoc should be used right after your first KC, as its your 2nd highest damage and hits harder than GT. Where do you put DB? I would get all my dots rolling before using Rapid fire( BA, Srs, ES in that order) then use stampede then> rf . Theres good chance by the time you about to use fervor for AMOC that LnL will proc. Thats why you want BA as your first , more LNL means more Expolsive shots in fight. Do use KS before es or after?

Im with raer on this. With some much hit/exp this patch you shouldnt under hit cap. Every little bit counts. Someone with same gear and doing same rotation as you but is hit cap will always do more dps than you.As for Mr Robot's advice, his take on hit cap simply is not supported by the math. If it were a net gain to be slightly below the cap, every dps who does the math (which is most of the raiders in end game hardcore progression guilds) would all be following this approach. On progression fight is where you want bring the most you can. Hunter questions: Which ICD's should you be tracking? List all the macros you use for dps and explain their use. Hi Porch, You are correct with those stat priorities , thats the way it was before. But at the same time your playing an MMO game where class mechanics change frequently and could change every patch. Playing MMO for many years now, you have to stay on top of your class with doing research if not you get left behind. The way you played a hunter in 4.3 lets say, most likely wont be same in 5.2. You are correct, that haste start getting love this patch with the new Rppm but also note 5.2 has been out for almost 2 months . The haste enchant has been around for way longer than that. Can tell you everyone in soh is up to date with what they can bring best of their class and what best talents/spec to bring to each boss fight. As we have to be on point with a 3 hour a night raiding schedule. You seem like fun guy and veteran hunter but you have to kinda stop pointing finger at something else (ex. it was camera, or it was the simcracft) everytime you forgot about something else or just mess up. Manning up and honestly will get you far in here if accepted, good luck your interview bud.

Cool Nice. Before if you didnt have the glyph of stampede to copy it wouldnt clone anything, must got fix , thanks for the update. But you still might want to have different pets in case, your on target that not everyone is on and could missing one of the debuffs you pets can apply to the current target, but its nothing major. - Yea since barrage will hit anything and everything in that case I would've MD the tank on bats before using it, as more threat on him with bats wouldnt be a bad thing Glad you see it like that any attempt could be the one. Armory questions: Yes I agree that you should go haste over crit having all 4( meta, 2 rppm trinkets and 2 pc bonus) Its pretty much like armor pen back in days where it was only worth going this route if you had high end gear. Going back to my question it wasnt that I wanted or asking you why didnt you reforge all haste but why you using mastery over haste on your enchant to gloves, when haste is better than mastery even if you dont have all 4? Pretty much like raer said dont count on it I was hoping you catch this ,had my fingers crossed. Your using glyph of the stampede on bm but not surv. The problem why your hurting survival is because your using 2 exotic pets that can only be used for bm. Meaning when your in survival spec and pop stampede it will only summon pets that are non exotic so technically your missing out on 2 pets and that is gimping the mechanic of the spell big time. Either use the copy glyph for survival or switch out your exotic pets. Another example what if the boss is at 3-5% health and you lose 75% - 80% of your raid, every little more you have will help at time like this. Armory questions: Not that its a huge dps increase but giving the fact Rppm goes with haste,and haste > mastery at this point (having 2pc bonus and 2 rppm trinkets) why are you using mastery over haste on your gloves? You been raiding since 5.2 was release , how far are you in secrets for your Meta, pretty much should have em all or close? Why are you not exalted with black prince yet, as it only took week or so to hit exalted with him? Looking at your survival glyphs , can you tell me which one your missing that is hurting your dps ? Hunter questions: How do you track your ICD's? Which ICD's should you be tracking? List all the macros you use for dps and explain their use. Explain your shots priority for both your specs Log questions (wanted see how you do in a heroic environment so I skim through the last two weeks you did heroic bosses) Week of 4/9 on Jih rokh you got hit by lighting storm then used rocket boots to get out and died. Are you not watching timer as dbm/big wigs gives you big heads up? Why would use boots over frag bombs, as boots dont always work and frags are dps increase? On heroic Horridon looks like you died twice to sand traps could you explain what happened here? 4/11 on heroic Tortos you died couple of times to rockfall and bats. Any reason rockfall was problem? Yea I aways heard varnius was real EJ. I dont know if you got to raid with trevor and Vye (old gm hunter) But I knew them. Varnius made alot of people angry. Im going to look through ur logs but for now please submit 2 raid screenshots of your UI in combat for both specs and please log out with BM in proper pve spec as I assume you have it for pvp,

Hello Porch, Speak for yourself ashin I dont like sushi Before I even start getting deep into hunter class and your toon with logs, your going to have to break down to me your guild history. As from 2011 to present you done some guild hopping, The 2 long term stays I saw were not more than 6 months On Mannoroth from summer 2011 to feb 2013 you went in and out of 6 guilds, then join modern in mid Feb for 2 months( they only raid 4 days wk ) and went to Invicto as of yesterday. Why so much hopping, and not lasting in most guilds for 3 months? What happen in Modern?

Could've just gone into LFR , UI seems little cluster especially for just being on target dummy. Bm easiest spec to play in terms of rotation than any of the other two specs. In TOT the pet issue I can say was on Durmu at beginning but that was fix I believed as it hasnt despawn in weeks. As dps you should be 100% comfortable playing all 3 specs and know you each spec inside out. Its major role of dual specs. The opener I would use for BM is: -2 Cast MD -1 Prepot 0 Serpent Sting 1 Glaive Toss 2 Arcane Shot 3 Rapid Fire/Stampede/Blood Fury 4 Bestial Wrath 5 Kill Command 6 Dire Beast 7 Murder of Crows 8 Readiness 9 Kill Command 10 Glaive Toss 11 Dire Beast 12 Arcane Shot 13 Arcane Shot 14 Arcane Shot 15 Bestial Wrath 16 Kill Command 17 Serpent Sting Your opener and priorities are not in right order, and could explain why in your logs your dps is low at times. There are plenty of hunters in top guilds that have theory craft the shot rotation and opener since 5.1 I recommend try to look for some good resources as it will help you as player at your class. You should never not do 100% of your class because of your team but do 100% for your team of what you bring to the table. We need to see a screen shot of your UI DURING RAID COMBAT, in both specs please Explain your thoughts on refreshing SrS during BW. Your dps seems low for your item level currently, What's your BM opener? Explain your priority for your opener. What ashin ask was How are you tracking your debuff, as your SS uptimes are low in certain fights, we value people who can play ALL specs of their class. Your spec shouldn't matter in keeping up SS which wouldnt cost anything in bw especially.Do you feel you're capable of performing at this level? If not, why? How come on Heroic Jin your using deterrence but still getting the debuff of Ionization? Looking through the logs that you posted in your app, what could you have done better from both a survaibility and damage standpoint?

Well reason I stated that is because Wyze was top 15 us 10man guild , Blade lord was the easiest heroic boss out of 6 in HOF and most members had total of 16 heroic kills for blade lord. But $hit does happen. Its kinda hard to understand what you meant here.The amount of instant damage yes but the over amount of damage on a fight, no. Having high uptime of SS on target especially boss fights of 5min or longer would be one of your top damage of your spells. SS should be after BA and maintain during the whole fight. - Just little confuse with what you said prior ( Serpent Sting up time is defiantly one of my bigger ones which I think I have fixed with the change to my UI) Then with this said, something is contradicting, now either you fixed it or your didn't. which is it? As a general rule for haste buff effects, its better to spread them out. The use of your gloves could be use with better macro or in more than one place maybe. It could explain why your not using it as much in a fight as you should. For example, on your LFR log, your Jin fight was 5:56 and you only used it twice , on Horridon it was over a 10min fight and you only used 7 times. The gloves have 1min cd so you could've gotten way more up time of your profession and agility None of your macros have stopcasting in them, thats not good. Spells like deterrence, fd Silence shot etc.. are spells that when you hit them in fight, you want them to happen instantly, If your in the middle of cobra shot cast and then hit a silence shot it will cancel the request because you a spell casting pending and good chance miss an interrupt which sometimes you only have about 3 secs to do so. In this case you would have to push silence shot again after the cast, same thing applies when you want to save yourself by popping healthstone or deterrence. LFR might give you idea in positioning but it wont prepare you for heroic. Only fight so far I can say didnt change much was Horridon, expect for health and bersker time. Ok that makes sense now Nice upgrade , thats beauty right there. When you get it up and running take another screenshot with your fps in raid combat. Looking at your history kills I wouldnt have guess it was harder for your guys since your guild Killed blade lord the most out of all bosses in Heroic HOF. - Your opener and priorities could use some work. On your opener for example should be pre-casting HM before the fight begins. For your priorities you didnt mention serpent sting, or kill shot. Black arrow should be infront of ES . - Please be more specific with what abilities you track, what trinket procs? Is there something else that you should be watching for? Amoc is dynamic so dont worry about the dots or holding until a trinket procs. - You also have deterrence on 1 min cd, you only used it once in both attempts. In terms of survivability, I used deterrence whenever possible to mitigate damage. Im little lost you said fix this (I have switched to a actual warning when there is no serpent sting so if it does fall I know instantly) so the focus bar spells are irrelevant to the question ask by ashin Currently hunters are the most button bloated dps class in the game, what DPS and non-DPS macros do you use on a regular basis? How do you handle MDing to multiple people over the course of a fight? LFR logs and heroic progression are hard to judge if someone has what it takes in a Heroic environment, as its not same to keep up survivability and dps. Showing that you had little trouble in lfr with uptimes and having no experience in this tier, what sets you aside from the avg hunter and how would you be a good fit jumping into the middle of heroic progression guild as were 4/13 at the moment?

Hi Shoults welcome to the forums First your toon setup is just right good job.I know you mentioned you was casual during vanilla & bc and stepped it up in Wotlk which I saw with the heroic kill on Lich king. Any reason why you took such long time to get back into progression as in your armory you got back into progression in FL? There's 1 or 2 things I would take out of this UI but overall very clean and nice UI. The one thing that did worried me, is that is showing your at 12 FPS in 25 raid environment, which is extremely low and could drop lower with fights with more adds or spell effects. This could hurt your dps and your movement. Could you please list your PC Specs and anything you would do to improve this I took look at this log (http://www.worldoflo.../56/?enc=bosses) You did good job on Heroic vizier but few questions. How come on these fights was Serpent sting uptime really low on some bosses? I know on Lei Shi he hides away but with boss timers you should be refreshing your dot to keep damaging him during hes hiding, your thoughts? Hunters really shine on Lei Shi cause they move and dps at the same time , which some classes cant any reason why dps was little lower than average? You died twice on Blade lord to Storm lashing could you explain what happened here? Few more questions: What's your opener and priorities for SV? Where on your UI do you track your ICD?What ICD's are should you be tracking as BM and SV and how do you use this information to improve your DPS?
