  1. Alright I think I have noticed that before, as for the hit cap, my mistake I guess. Simple enough fix, but I see where that creates uncertainty in my abilities, I have played around with the reforging and it seems that no matter what piece i change it puts me under by a bit or over by a substantial amount. it all varies and generally it is just one piece of gear not multiple.
  2. Wait what? I have 7.5 exp? I am missing no enchants as i am an enchanter. my hit chance is 7.9 hit because the benfit of following socket bonus on helm far outweighs not gemming a purple gem. i have hit regorged off on all my pieces that i can save for maybe one ring. Please tell me where you are finding this information.
  3. I joined Vox late in this tier and have been a trial but there are so many people that my trial is more just watching than playing so no disrespect taken, I would just like to be taken seriously. I have attempted many if not all of the bosses on heroic and haven't been in for the kills and the kills i have been in for Were the first times I have even attempted the boss and as I said, I focus more on the mechanics and my dps tends to suffer until I get everything down. I did not intend to waste you time, I apologize if that is what I am doing, maybe I should start with a lesser guild until I can get a foothold as far as gear and experience goes. I thank you for your consideration, if there is anything else you would like to know, I'd be happy to answer them.
  4. Alrighty, I'll respond to this in paragraphs, much like it was presented. Utility is one of the best things about playing a hunter, we can do so much, whether is bringing that one buff that a raid group is missing, lusting, battle res now which is always fun, to the actual raid mechanics that we can preform with in theory no loss to our dps. A big one that comes to mind is heroic Stone Guard when we have to run stacks, playing a hunter made it easy to run stacks efficiently and still do all of the rotation as needed. Deterrence is often a great thing for hunters as well, On heroic Will I especially used Deterrence coupled with Crouching Tiger Hidden Chimera for the reduced cooldown to soak the titan sparks, with another hunter in the group we were almost able to soak them all with a 1 one minute cd. Heroic Sha of fear is another place where Deterrence can realy prove effective. This applies to both regular and heroic I guess as well. When Death blossom is cast on a platform and there are balls to be collected I just pop deterrence and run around picking them up without having to worry about dying. Lei Shi when the adds spawn a hunter can use Wyvern Sting and sleep and add then scatter trap another if it is done quickly enough. Binding Shot is another ability that I love to play around with. On the adds in heroic feng you can binding shot them to stop them, it also works with the adds in Tsulong. One ability that is not so much a raid saver but is still useful is Disengage which now can be a bit of a self heal and it allows for quick movement around the fighting area. As far as the tunneling aspect of fighting, the only problem that I notice myself having is watching my surroundings too much when learning the encounter trying to make sure that i don't mess anything up that sometimes I forget to cast a Cobra shot or maybe i have spammed to many arcane shots whilst looking around and my focus has dropped too low, but generally tunneling isn't a problem with me. I just got a day job at a greenhouse here in town so I have a job that isn't going to require any hours after 5 pm and will slow down quite a bit after the spring is over because everyone will have there plants and such. I cant enroll for a college full time until 2014 and then i wouldn't be able to attend until the fall semester of that year so i have no scheduling conflicts in the foreseeable future of 5.2 and even the rest of MoP. Mobility! I shouldn't say that I just run around like a chicken with my head cut off, it is just that being able to move all around is one of my favorite aspects of playing hunter, personally I think Sniper Training back to hunters to make choosing when you move a little more challenging, but I digress. Getting chained to a hunter with Jasper chains is probably the easiest for people to deal with, we can just run right next to you and follow you around with no reason to complain. Along with all of the mobility comes with expectations though, we have no excuse to die to any voidzone really because we can just move our of it like it isn't even there. I can think of an example where moving too much would be a problem. Heroic Blade Lord with the windstep debuff if you move around to much then you force everyone else to move around to stay 8 yards away from you and that can affect the entire raids dps, and even cause a wipe if you get too many people hit by windstep. Bottom HoF is an all Heroic Clear, I'll dig up some more if you need them. I just linked what wason my WoL account.

  7. Name: Dustin Johnson Age: 19 Hey there, My name is Dustin and I play a hunter who is currently on the server Kel' Thuzad. I am 19 and play junior hockey before attendign college next year, so I have plenty of free time to play my computer at night. Currently I am the Guild Vox on KT and although it is a great guild the amount of players in the raid group is enormous, a 40-45 man rotation for a 25 man raid which isn't bad it is just too inconsistent for my liking and I would like to have a more stable raid group where you can be called upon to preform well and be held to a certain standard but if a mistake is made there is no prolonged 2 week bench period. Character: Paradime Class: Hunter Spec: Beast Mastery/Survival iLvl:497 Progression: 15/16 heroic* Guild: Vox Server: Kel'Thuzad Armory: http://us.battle.net...Paradime/simple UI: http://s1305.beta.photobucket.com/user/Djohnson192/media/WoWScrnShot_020613_024525_zps17df0c59.jpg.html Wow-Heroes/Logs: http://www.wow-heroe...huzad/Paradime/ Background: Started playing WoW back in Wrath and started as a Paladin and didn't really enjoy it, Played a shaman back in Cataclysm as enhance and really enjoyed that spec a lot but I had always wanted to play a range class but couldn't fall in love with the stand still tendencies of most caster classes so towards the end of cataclysm I leveled a hunter and have been playing it since then and have enjoyed every minute of it. In MoP the ability to move and preform my dps rotation the exact same as when standing still easily makes it my favorite class. So far in MoP I have been searching for a permanent home for my hunter to not only raid on but socialize and be a part of a group of people the get to know each other and not one that logs on to raid and then logs off as the raid concludes and stays off till next week. I did see that you recruit mostly adults and being 19 i am legally an adult and for them most part I act like one, I still enjoy having fun and messing around a bit but I also understand that there is a time for work and then a time for play and messing around while raiding can be a bit troublesome so I generally avoid that. Progression*: 15/16 heroic and put attempts on Sha of Fear heroic. Have seen all the fights on heroic but as is a problem with ahving 45 people in a 25 man group sometimes boss kills are missed but that doesn't mean I was not in mumble listening in and attempting the bosses. Playstyle: I play hunter in a very mobile way, I can stand still but I don't like to nor is it really required as a hunter since they took away our sniper training. I look up information on forums all the time and I research every spec that I play and then compare the DPS for each fight and sometimes it is just common sense to know when a spec will out preform another spec. I love the ptr and testing and trying to get in on the boss fights early to see what they are about, in fact I tested all of the normal mode ptr bossed for 5.2 but then was unable to download the later patches and couldn't test anything beyond that. I take criticism very well and learn from my mistakes very quickly mostly from being coached all my life so if something isn't working and I get called out on it, chances are that I will listen. That coupled with a competitive nature means that I always try to preform the best of my abilities and don't like "just getting by", I want to excel. When it comes to raiding I like to raid because it presents a challenge that takes a team of individuals to overcome and is rewarding when it you jump over the hurdles. Loot is not a big thing to me, of course I want gear so that I can improve my performance but if I lose a roll then oh well, we will kill the boss again and that piece of gear will drop again and there is one less person for me to roll against next time. Conclusion: I may not be the oldest player in the raid group or the most progressed/battle tested but I can assure that I will put in the time and effort that learn fights and preform to the best of my ability in the fights. I love to play this game and I have looked at your raid times and the raid times/days seem ideal, 9 hours a week is enough time to progress but not so much that you can't go out and be with friends some nights, if accepted I will be on times for raid and be at the raids. As serious as the guild seems to be when it comes to raiding it seems like it has a fun side to it as well. I would love to be a part of the team and to be a horde once again. Troll hunter is my favorite race/class combo ever. Please feel free to contact me with Realid @ Bluejacket19@gmail.com or battletag WooTownMafia#1679
