Since I'm still a newbro to EVE and I never played WoW, I'll leave the majority of the questions to others at this point. I will note that if your wife does play FFXIV she is more than welcome to check out our community's chapter that resides on the Leviathan server and apply to the community as well.

    So this may not be news to some people, but I just discovered today that Mumble now supports the "-m" command meaning you can run multiple instances of the VoIP at once without any weird, obnoxious tricks like you used to need.

      Oh yeah, there's a fair number of stories just like yours that I've read unfortunately. Bad business practice for sure, but I wish you the best of luck. Sounds like you're gonna need it. =/

      Permaban if you dispute charges? Refund of fraudulent charges only to PSN Wallet?  That's outrageous.

      Okay. They actually came back and recovered my account. I'm still hesitant about doing much on it after this whole incident, but in the end what matters is I got it back.

    My PSN account was hacked if you see me online. It is not me at this point... If anyone is able to find any info, like if the user id was changed and what to that would be great.

      Lessons Learned:

      • Sony Entertainment does not have 24/7 Live Support so don't get hacked in the middle or the night.
      • Sony Entertainment has a "no refund" policy. All purchases are final. 
      • Keep the original PS device that you registered your account on. (They can use it to verify you are who you say you are and recover your account.)

      Glad you recovered your account!  If you did get charged anything you can try and dispute with the Credit Card Company but I have heard nightmares that when the credit card company does the charge back to Sony.  Sony will then ban your entire account.  I have started to just remove my billing info until I want to make a purchase or buy a gift card.  It is a pain but saves the headache of a hacked account.

      Ya, that's what the Customer Support person told me. I gave me a "one-time good will" full refund on the unauthorized purchase to the PSN wallet and I just cancelled my Dispute that I submitted through Paypal so they wouldn't ban my account. This whole experience has made me very wary of Sony and how they handle account security & customer support. Honestly, I wonder why they don't have a 2-step verification system in place like Steam, Blizzard, & Microsoft (on XB1). It just feels sloppy.

    Ignore the Popoto lover above. We can just punt him if he gets too obnoxious. I've definitely become a convert to X-COM myself, such an amazing game. I was also glad to hear that I don't have to rag on another Habs fans. Anyways, looking forward to chatting with you in mumble.
