  1. yay! also - i hit 449 weaponsmithing, ill put it in my sig so ppl know on the forum :]
  2. Signed! also - i suggest putting in a little reminder (i didn't read all 6 pages, just the first post, not sure if it was mentioned) that you always represent the guild/everyone in it even if you're not doing group activities. Such as a pugged dredge. I can remember a few times where just because people in high up guilds didn't feel like "playing with me cause my gear was bad" they'd afk. doesn't look good for their guilds, and wouldn't for us! always try your best and treat people even outside the guild with respect, as it reflects us as a whole. that was always my main policy when leading guilds in the past. inner-guild drama sucks, cross-guild drama is even worse.
  3. Was told to repost this, i edited it to bring it up to date :] Hello there, I'm Zogg and I recently (edit: a long time ago XD) grouped with Huntyre in a few asteria repeats, and after asking him about his legion, he shot me over in the direction of this website :] I'm a student currently, 20 years old, living in NH. I have been playing MMO's for about 5 years now, I played FFXI and Guild wars for a bit after a long period of playing wow. I lead my own legion through all of classic wow (through naxx) and through all the pve content of burning crusade. I ended up just pvping during wotlk and received the season 3 armored drake for being in the top 0.02% of my battlegroup (though tbh wow pvp is pretty horribly balanced). I ended up falling in love with pvp (but still loving me some pve) but wow grew old. I Played the aion beta and have been playing since launch. I rerolled onto Lumiel from Siel recently as i wanted to enjoy some roleplaying on occation and this is the "unofficial server" In general i try to play every aspect of the game from crafting (just passed my expert weaponsmithing quest XD) to pve to pvp. The one thing i have missed since quitting wow is the community I had between my fellow players in my guild there, and how the main focus was to benefit the guild as a whole rather than everyone being greedy and focused on loot. I try to apply these ideals to my own playing. I won't bitch about losing a roll or somebody getting gear i thought i deserved, I just enjoy playing with quality, mature players through as much of the content as possible and enjoying myself (and hopefully helping others enjoy themselves) along the way. I hope to join and contribute as a team player rather than using the guild for "getting gear" or "doing lots of instances" as some people tend to want. ~Z heres my character sheet if needed: http://na.aiononline.com/livestatus/...679&serverID=8 update: im reposting this. i had joined fates hand, but when moving into a new apartment comcast screwed me over and left me without internet for 5 weeks. i just came back, and everyone i know is gone from my guild. i whispered Kricket, and she mentioned that i could re-apply to SOH. Boy was i happy when i heard about that :} now i hit 50, played 2 weeks then lost internet so my gear is minimal, but progressing quickly now :] thanks for considering me again
  4. Yeah didnt want to just not tell you what was going on haha. ive been in the situation before from both ends, it just didnt seem like it would work from my eyes and i dont see much of a need for me in the guild, were the main reasons
  5. Well, Ive been back on my gaming computer for a bit now, and ive done one run with you guys in SR. you were all very friendly and helpful and stuff, especially with making me do my stigma quest XD (i was just waiting till 50 then gonna do everything, since ive been on a laptop since lvl 43 sooo ><) anyway, I wanted to thank you guys for inviting me to group with you and considering me for the guild but I think its been too long of a process without anything coming to fruition. I realize most of it was me not having a computer to be able to play with you guys but I was told a "ill know within two weeks" about 3 weeks ago, So I'm going to have to withdraw my application. there was also the factor that you all have obviously been playing together for a long time and it was a bit awkward to be in a group on vent and not know anybody. Ive seen people join guilds that i ran for years and have them leave because it was just awkward to be with people who have been playing together for so long. theres also the factor that you dont really seem to need a gladiator currently, and i only want to join if i am needed, not just because im a decent applicant and you'd rather not just say no. I have applied to a few guild who need gladiators currently, and while i'm not happy this didnt work out, I hope i can still play with you guys in the future with no hard feelings :] If you ever need a glad for a run or anything, feel free to shoot me a whisper in game. thanks for your time, sorry this ended up failing heh :/ ~Zogg
  6. hush XD im on now, finally!
  7. WOO im home! but i need to install the 1.9 patch >< ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so close.
  8. good news! going back to mass on sunday night, so i can play in the abyss and stuff again! Hurrays and Huzzahs! oh also you all have an awesome guild leader, he gave me one of my lvl 49 stigmas for free cause i didnt have it yet. Very classy XD
  9. yeah, im saving up and trying to make me some sweet weapons w/ expert weaponsmithing haha
  10. yeah i actually noticed a good amount less of junk loot. normally i'd sell after about 3-4 hours of grinding and make about 150K, i made just under 80-90K. i havent looked if its less money per drop or less drops, but i did notice the less $ coming in haha. I also noticed more manastones and fluxes dropping though.. :]
  11. oh man i havent touched my eskrima's in a while. the last thing i remember using them for was a weapons demonstration when i was like 16. ill have to dig em out n brush up on them again ^_^
  12. Yeah, i did tang soo do cause that's what was in my area and my parents enrolled me into it. I learned more from the 6 years of muay thai than 13 years of tsd but when people ask wtf tang soo do is i say "ITS WHAT CHUCK NORRIS DOES!" cause it's true But yeah, im only 5'8 so muay thai works perfectly into my style >.> tbh i havent done much martial arts in the last year or so, cause i've been either at college or working as a personal trainer. or both
  13. Yeah! I'd love to get in if you need me, I'm still leveling anyway though the lags getting to me >< 1 bar from 47 currently. So many plat coins! ><
  14. i know it was focused at the OP, but i trained in tang soo do for 13 years, muy thai for 6 years, jiu jitsu for 5 years and 4 years of general MMA training (of which i then did 5 cage fights, went 3-2 (1 loss by submission, one by injury) before i turned 19 and went to college to study exercise science) you study anything?
  15. little update - ill be back in the same state (and thus so able to play on) my gaming computer on the 11th, so you guys can finally group with me. FINALLY >.>
