  1. Withdrawing my application. Due to a family emergency I will be heading home for the foreseeable future and will likely not be in game or able to get to know all the members as I'd like to. Everybody that I have met so far has been fantastic and, perhaps, I can reapply when the situation sorts itself out. Thanks everybody! It was a blast playing with those I did get to.
  2. Welcome Kazyn! Perhaps we can play together in Smite sometime! I am still learning a lot about the game though. What do you think of the Wheel of Time series thus far? Which branch of the military are you in (if you're still actively in it)? What would your ideal vacation consist of? Looking forward to getting to know and playing with ya. What made you decide on a medic? I did not have a chance to try one during my short beta phase.
  3. Read and signed. A great core of rules as a code of conduct.
  4. Thank you for the welcomes! Mattplex, I might try it eventually. I was pleasantly surprised how much I have been enjoying the genre. I'll start with the questions. Devil Survivor originally got me into the series, I believe that was the one for the DS I played through. Multiple endings and enjoyable battle/social system. I have now started Persona 3 FES and am (nearly?) done with it. Next on the list is Persona 4. England was probably the most interesting place I have cycled around. Absolutely beautiful country and there were always other cyclists on the road or trails to talk to. Second would be the Denver area. I particularly enjoyed the Cherry Creek trail there - again very beautiful and fun place. The community is the first thing that comes to mind. I do not know what specifically made it so great to me, but I built connections that have lasted the last eleven years through the game and still maintain contact/visit some friends I originally met in game from all across the US to England, France, and Norway. The people were absolutely fantastic. The profession(class) variety was also great to me and I fell in love with the support aspect of MMO's through playing my bureaucrat and being responsible for crowd control and affecting whether the team/raid lived/died through roots, snares, mezzes, or charming the enemies. Additionally, it was my introduction to mass pvp through fighting over land or rare bosses and I was lucky enough to experience 125+vs125+ skirmishes (and the lag that came along with that ) and eventually mech battles with the Lost Eden expansion. I got the name Chaltier from an old Playstation game called Tales of Destiny. It is a character in the game. Without knowing you at all, I'd recommend The Fault in Our Stars as an excellent book. Thanks for the guest access! I find them amusing from what little I encountered of them (only the Dominion tutorial, really) I was in the Air Force for about six years. I enjoy reading a bit of everything, but have been on a fantasy kick for the last couple weeks. I recently finished The Black Company series by Glen Cook, and have been devouring the Malazan series by Steven Erikson as well as The Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss. The last day or two has, unfortunately, been my college textbooks.
  5. Good morning, I found my way here via the reddit advertisement as I am looking for new home and group to play with come launch. The community seems friendly and supportive and that is incredibly appealing. Additionally, there seem to be branches across other games I play or have played, so there might be some common interests with other members. I have been on a break from MMO's for the last two years but Wildstar has piqued my interest. I primarily enjoy pvp, but do enjoy raiding and instances occasionally. I am planning to make an Esper come launch and jump right in. I am incredibly laid back and am admittedly a bit shy at first, so I might not be overly talkative on Mumble initially. A little about me: I go by Jacob or Chaltier. I just turned 26 last Friday, and have recently separated from the military. I am now focusing on school and working toward my bachelors. My primary hobbies are gaming, reading, running, and cycling. I have been gaming for the past twenty years or so starting with Final Fantasy on the NES and have enjoyed RPGs ever since. I have been playing MMOs since 2001~ starting with Everquest for a breif stint. I moved on there to Anarchy Online, which is still my all time favorite MMO. I did lead raids and tower wars(mass world PvP) in AO, but not too often. I was part of the community professionals program during my time in AO which was a class's representative to the developers. I moved on from AO to WoW during BC's release where I continued to pvp but stepped more into raiding. Next, I jumped into Rift for a while and then bounced around to random games such as Eve and back to WoW where I picked up multiboxing. I learned that I tend to gravitate toward crowd control/support classes, if available, followed by healers next. I am planning to try out DPS and tanking in Wildstar for something new. Lately, I have found Smite and have been enjoying it as my first MOBA. I have also started playing some older RPGs that I missed out on such as the Persona series until I learned that Wildstar was in open beta. I only was able to play the last two days of the beta but really enjoyed myself and here I am!
