  1. Hey there I'll start by saying I have come here from Wildstar (Widow) where I play a character named Kiya (medic) and have been playing with my husband Chaotika, and my dad Cromarti. We've played many games together including GW2, Swtor, WoW, Rift, Tera.. My first mmo was wow, and it is the game I've played the most. Its the game that sparked my interest in pvp and raiding. I was super excited about GW2 because I thought they had solved what had become so boring and routine about wow, and wow clones.. But then I found myself seriously missing the trinity, and finding that I need a carrot on a stick to stay interested at end game. So here I am in Wildstar, and could not be more pleased. This is the first mmo to come out, in my experience, that fully delivered and did not disappoint. However, I am also aware that your community/guild is an important factor in whether or not you stay interested in a game. Bottom line is my interests are pvp, and raiding, but I'm open to trying everything that wildstar has to offer like warplots, housing, etc.. So I'm hoping that some of you reading this can relate to my situation, and interests in game, and irl. I rolled a medic with the intent of healing. In the past I've created characters with a purpose. For example, THIS character is going to be my tank, or this character is gonna be my healer, or my badass dps etc... I'm finding in Wildstar that shit doesn't quite fly like that. Every class seems to be versatile, and meant to be played that way. Questing as a healer is impossible solo. & only seems viable if I were to quest in a group of 4-5 people. I look forward to learning how other medics in the guild play, and improving my own abilities. I have a long to do list in wildstar. I'm a mother of a two year old girl, and pregnant with my son who could make his appearance any day now. Needless to say, my playtime is currently limited. I'm still working on getting to 50, (38 atm) and trying keep my crafting and path (technologist/settler) up to my lvl. I've loved what I've seen from the dungeons so far. Challenging, interesting, and overall super fun mechanics. I look forward to seeing the raids when I'm a bit more available, and just participating in a guild who has some of the same ambitions. Not sure what other information is relevant to include, so I'll just stop there
  2. Salutations! I am known around the interwebs as Maelzrael. My Wildstar character is Chaotika. I have a 2 year old daughter and a newborn baby boy on the way. I would like to join the guild South of Heaven as me, my wife, and my father in law are all looking for a good active guild to game with. My play time is severely limited at the moment due to real life, and I play about 1-2 hours a night, and several more over the weekends. I am interested in all aspects of wildstar, esp arena and houseing. Chaotika is a dps esper primarily but also totes around a healing spec and a few pieces of insight gear. Looking forward to joining the community. ~Maelzrae
  3. In-game Nickname: Artaxerxes Race: Mechari Class: Warrior Focus: PvE DPS (Could have a tanking build and gear on the side if needed). Professions: Armorer, Master Crafter (Currently working on getting the crafting vouchers to learn the Adventus armor set). I'm applying to your guild by reference of Darlantan. I played with him and 3 other of your members in a Crimelords of Witevale veteran run. The run was smooth and fast wich peak my interest to join your guild since I still don't have one. My goal is to experience end-game content including veteran adventures, veteran dungeon, 20-man raids and 40 man raids. I'm pretty focused on clearing content, don't mind the wipes and repair bills, and you will get no drama from me. I'm not really a PvP guy, I joined a PvP server because my friends selected this server and I followed them but I guess I could also do some PvP on the side if its required. I tried to include all the information that seemed relevant at the moment. Some of your guild members played with me and that could be reference to my skills if needed. I'm not talkign about stats yet since I've only been lvl 50 for 2 days and still need to gear up. I guess this is it. Thank you for your consideration.
  4. Hey, I've been playing Wildstar for a bit now and have been looking for an active guild for awhile. My friend Nurve is in your guild, and I play with him all the time. I used to raid in WoW, and Rift and enjoyed it a lot. I haven't really play many mmorpgs since because I have been primarily playing league of legends trying to climb to challenger. I was at d2 50lp before I went on a losing streak. I am a level 50 esper healer.
  5. Our contact was Musushi. I'm Codepage9, I've got extensive gaming experience in RPG, FPS, and turn based/real time strategy. I was a secondary tank for hardcore raiding guild <tys> horde side on Spirestone (starting on Runetotem) from Burning Crusade to Wrath of the Lich King (I quit Feb 3rd, 2009 due to the game negatively effecting my education). I was also the founder of the Day of Defeat clan (pie) of [RFSS].(pie). We ran four 32-player 24/7 map servers that pretty much remained full except between 3-8am, and lasted for ~2 years before the release of DoD:S caused a rift among our players. I'll hold off and listing the rest of my gaming history. I'm a software engineer and make for a good field commander. NWMSerenade is my other half, she's far more sociable and easy going than I. She usually makes up the healing half of our tank/healing combo in these sorts of games. She's going to be going back to college soon so her raiding may be sporadic. She has played WoW, GW, GW2, KOTOR, and the NWN MMO. Neither of us mind getting split for raids and we're both really huge nerds. I hope we can work together TO CRUSH THE REBEL SCUM, HAHAHAHAHA. With love and lasers, Codepage9
  6. Hello, My name is Oxidious, long time gamer. My friends and I are always looking for a good PVE/PVP (especially WPVP) MMO to play, and have been constantly let down. Wildstar finally seems to be a game to fit the bill, and after the beta we are all excited to play. After deciding on the game the grueling task of finding a guild began, after alot of research we decided South of Heaven felt like the right fit, Vansung and Mobilefiber have already applied, now it is my turn. A little about myself, I am 35 and the Director of IT for a development firm in Ohio and I have a 2 1/2 year old. I have been gaming for fun and competitively for the better part of 17 years. Starting with Quake through Counterstrike I played near the top levels never making to the very top (this is very hard to admit LOL). In relation to MMOs I have played nearly all of the major ones, from the original Everquest to Tera. In Everquest I was an officer in Legacy of Steel, one of the 3 most successful guilds on the planet, I actually recruited Tigole (Jeff Kaplan), who would eventually become leader, followed by a much smaller accomplishment…Game Director and Vice President at Blizzard (whatever that title means). As with Everquest, in the games where I devoted a decent amount of time, I found myself as one of the main healers with guilds at the top echelon of progression, Warhammer, DDO, Rift, and WoW (pre-WoLTK) were the games where I ended up playing at high levels, but not never really as high as Everquest. Later during my MMO career, I began PVPing and found an excitement and accomplishment level just as high as when I played FPS games competitively. Since then it has been a mix bag, I still enjoy WoW arenas 2v2 and 3v3 (although being a priest is no where near what it once was), and I casually raid in a my own guild of 12 (we are 13/14 normal 10man), but we just started raiding 6 months ago when 4 or 5 of us decided to come back. After having my son, and my career taking flight my time to game is no where near what it once was, so for me the 2 most important things in a guild are: 1) the people I game with, they have to be laid back and fun, 2.) there needs to be a possibility of top end content (pvp or pve) with limited amount of time to game (mostly weeknights after 9pm EST) you want to get the most out of the time as possible. As for Wildstar I will be playing a Mechari Medic (no surprise there) down the Scientist path (group reinforcement summon anyone?) and am really looking forward to gaming with a group of good guys and gals. Hope I make the cut! -Oxi
  7. Hey guys, My in-game name is reserved as Malixx (Malix was taken HGAAAASKJLGdbklBFS), my real name is Ben. I'm going to be playing a spellslinger mainly as DPS, with a healing offspec (obviously). I've been playing MMO's since EQ, but never really got serious about raiding until WOTLK in WoW. I was the #1/#2 Hunter on my server for the entirety of that expansion, constantly switching between another hunter in the same guild. I played semi competitive in HoN and consider myself among the top players in a game called SMITE. I've become more PvP oriented as far as my gaming style over the past few years, mainly due to a lack of challenge in raid content. I don't think I've ever been this excited about raid content in a game in a VERY long time. My goals will be to see all PvE content, and maintain a competitive presence in the PvP environment. Outside my gaming life, I play in a band as lead guitarist that sounds like what critics call, "a clash of breaking benjamin and metallica". We call ourselves "from this fire" (shameless plug inc -> www.fromthisfire.com) I work at a datacenter for a living, maintaining operations and crisis containment. I live in the overcrowded-with-old-people sunshine state, and love to complain about slow drivers in the fast lane. From what I've read on the forums, SoH seems like the perfect home for me. Poking around the SoH forums a bit, everyone here seems mature and friendly. Gaming backgrounds look extensive, which is something I always look for. Hopefully SoH has room for me among its ranks. I look forward to meeting all of you and building warplots no one is able to pass!
