I currently work in a philosophy and religious studies department at a university in Boston (Northeastern). Our environmental ethics courses are a huge draw to students and the faculty member that teaches them has a big name in that field of research. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to organize an event with Bill McKibben last year because of this, but I've always wondered what impact the research has on practice. Personally, I've been to busy studying for this frustrating difficult Calc class I need to graduate. Just playing a bit of Dark Souls II and not much else. Whelp, 8 days til Wildstar.
