Hi guys, my corp is being merged and I am here to post an introduction. I have been playing eve for about 2 months and I have been a part of Guardians Collective for the majority of that time. We moved from high sec industrial to null along side NAGA during the latter stage of their deployment to the fountain region, and followed them to delve during the recent move. We have been neighbors for a while now and now we will make a lovely corp baby together.

Other games I play include Path of Exile, Diablo 3, WoW, Battlefield 4, but as with any other mmo, Eve is all consuming.

I will see you all in game, and I welcome my new overlords o7

Hi Axion! Glad to see your app. It has been a hell of a few months for SOHCO as well, we only had ~ a month in Fountain before everything started going to hell. I'm glad Guardians Collective is interested in coming over, I hope it works out well for everyone.

Part of our initiation process is harassing you with random questions to see how well you handle yourself and to get to know you a little better. I'll start.

What do you do for work?

How do you feel about hummus?

What's your favorite PC game of all time?

Once the heckling is complete I'll update your forum rank and send an in-game corp invite.

Welcome.  What got you interested in EVE?

I'm impressed that you made the leap from Hi-sec mining to Null so early in your career.  What got you motivated to do that and how did you settle on NAGA?

What's your favorite food to eat?  What's the best food you can actually make yourself?

Looking forward to flying with you. :)

p.s. our forums may be a bit more active than what you're used to with other corps / guilds. :D

Hey Tyrlis and Huntyre!

I work IT for the state of california, which is a fancy way of saying I just help them with basic computer issues and distribute updates after normal working hours.

As for hummus, its pretty damn good. Local place near me does it pretty well, with a variety of interesting flavors.

Favorite game of all time... damn that is a hard one. I would have to say World of Warcraft. Even though recently it hasn't had the same draw as it did in the past it has consumed so much of my life that it would be an insult to not consider it my favorite.

Hey there Overkill and Ashin :D

Neither, brownies.

Eve is a game I have had my eye on for some time now. I knew it would be a big time investment so that is what kept me away for so long. I had previously made a one time attempt at the plex a trial account challenge, and missed my goal by about 300m. I then walked away for a couple years and when I saw premium accounts on sale for $25 I decided maybe I should take another whack at it. Eve has always been a game that has caught my eye, can't quite put my finger on why, just that pretty space ships and the player run market made the game seem more real than other games.

The move to null was a decision we made as a corp. We had it pretty good up in high sec, but the allure of the big boy rats and asteroids was something we wanted to see for ourselves. The decision to join naga was probably one of the best ideas for us as a small corp, my low sp didn't seem to hold me back I had the right skills to not get popped by rats, and nobody was able to hotdrop me during any deployment so far. I actually had no say in the alliance we joined, I trust ascenity, and he has yet to steer me wrong. He took me in as a week old newbro and helped me in multitudes of ways, and with my style of playing games I was fully prepared for anything (except fighting those big boy corps :p)

tl:dr I dont come into games without knowing how to play, good corp leader made the difference

My favorite food is tritip, sooooooo good, just bought 2 this morning going to smoke them for some bbq at the grandparents house tomorrow.

Alright Axion, it seems our heckling is complete.

I'm going to upgrade your forum account to Recruit and send you an invite in-game. That will allow you to view our EVE forums and the information overload they represent. Let me point out some highlights...

 - Our guild has pretty high standards of behavior and conduct. Please read the Code of Conduct and post your understanding so we know you've read it.

 - The EVE Online Chapter Policy forums has a pile of information about how our corp operates in EVE. Of particular importance, here are instructions for joining our in-game chat channel and here is an explanation of our in-game rank structure.

Some of us have limited playtime, so we use the forums a lot to discuss happenings in the game and plans for once we're actually able to log on. I'll be sending you a PM at some point in the next few days with even MORE words to read.
