Guest Posted September 28, 2005 Report Share Posted September 28, 2005 Saw the private screening of Serenity tonight, and all I can say is..... omg you have to see this movie, even if you never saw the Firefly series you should. A friend came with me who is not a sci fi fan nor saw the series, and he walked out saying it was the best movie he has seen in years and wants to see it again as well as the series. Guest Posted September 28, 2005 Report Share Posted September 28, 2005 It is almost 100% the series, the only thing different is, it is a little bit darker. That is good though since they can do more on the big screen. I think it can be summed up in what my friend said to me, "Walking out of the theater from that movie, it felt like I walked out from seeing Star Wars for the first time, but better." My only hope is more movies come from this, or (I know it is a snowball's chance in hell) a revival of the series in some way.
