  1. In closing I'll leave it with a question, now that you've seen what I can do for SoH what can SoH do for me?

Not worded the best way, but I understand your meaning. We would provide a solid mature community inside the game and out. We also enjoy playing other games with each, drunken pvp, hanging out in chat, watching streams together. With us you would have a solid place to call home.

    Dear Hip,

I believe we're at a cross roads and I havn't ment to upset you, nor have I ment to portray and aggressiveness towards women you would have to understand the 5 year relationship of playing with this individual to understand. Also I have many female wow friends that enjoy raiding and playing the casual content with me, I've had 1 person in my time on WoW that could legitimatly say they did not enjoy raiding with me. I understand "taking someones word for it" is hard to now a days but thats for you to decide and I can't sway your thoughts through small bits of text on the internet.

    Neck,

I think I see where you are coming from. You wanted to be direct and confident, from what I was reading. It could also come down to the fact that you might have been nervous about making a good first impression. But I think you poored on the confidence a little too much, which may have caused misconceptions of a puffed out chest and excessive dominance. Honestly though, I feel like you aren't a bad guy at all. :)

Here's a few questions that might help us do away with this obnoxious dis-connect. ;)

    1. In a raiding enviroment, would you be willing to be benched for a week to help the team and why/why not?

    2. We are a very open community(male, female, gay, bi, black, white, purple, straight). Is this an environment that you are comfortable with and can respect?

    3. When you said "psycho bitch" did you mean it as a way undermine women, or did it just become something that you say without the intended meaning? The internet has a way of de-sensitizing some very offensive phrases. I'm guilty of this, as well. However, we are a guild of people who say what we mean. If someone is being an asshole, they are being an asshole. Gender doesn't need to be used.

    4. Do you like to dance?

    6. What contributions would you make to the guild outside of raiding? Or even outside of WoW?

Like I said before, I just think that your portrayal of confidence is being misunderstood and that is causing a disconnect. Let's just clear this up and be bffls, imo.

    Thanks,

    Negido

  2. Hi Etol! I'm Negido! Welcome to the forums!

    Do you like adventures?

Do you drink, if so, what's your drink of choice?

    Favorite Disney movie/character?

    What's your favorite color?

Are you pessimist or an optimist?

If you had three wishes, what would they be?

Why rose? Why not avalilly, avadaffodil, or perhaps avaorchid?

We're gonna be friends and it's going to be great!

  4. Hi! I'm Negido! I'm the opposite of shy! Also known as obnoxious! Welcome to the forums!

I do have a serious question for you. You seem to be quite determined to raid, would a social setup be the right kind of scenario for you? Would pugging adequately satisfy your wants and needs as far raiding is concerned?

Since Ashin words things better than me. I'll just quote him on the requirements of social members.

In general we are open to having folks join us as social members. We're also open to social members working up their raiding abilities and learning to step up as backups and things like that. However, I will make the standard disclaimer that the burden is on you to make yourself known to the guild. Because you won't be on the raid team, which is our primary activity, it might take a little more effort. Through forum activity and non-raid activities, you will need to introduce yourself, so that, after a few weeks, most of the guild can say "I know that person and like having them around." We are not a guild of strangers.

I'm not trying to shrug you off by any means. I'm just trying to pick your brain. :)

Also, since I am social member, not a raider. I'll leave the logs and technical rogue talk to the pros. :D

    Thanks!

    <3s!
