Aery it should be fun I am looking forward to it. A little sad after all the work that I put into Vite on Aion but I am so over that game
I know what you mean. I put in so much time and effort into Aion, but ah well. Realized those little pixels weren't actually worth anything and decided to focus more on RL and come back into GW2 and try to be more casual (I tend to get sucked in if I let myself). I think GW2 is going to be amazing just because of all the people we will get to hang out with!

Ery he is trying to get his forum access set up again. Was he an Aion member? Do you happen to remember the original username?
Icejackel was his original username account (it is registered 06/03/2011), and yes, he was a member in Aion Chapter before he and his wife had to leave. He just needs to be moved back to friend. At that point in the unofficial chapter, i was moving accounts to "stranger" status when they left.

Some of us moved over to Devoted Legacy. They are welcoming all SoH, just contact AMK or Darkmenace and tell them you're from SoH. Speaking of which, I have a housefull of tween girls again, so probably won't be on tonight, or if I am it will be late. Plus, Deco is sick; I think he has some sort of flu-like bug. To top it off, I have major sinus affliction and sneeze attacks of doom and scratchy throat. Figures...BLARGH We're ordering pizza and watching a final destination movie with the girls and having some popcorn and sierra mist, yeah!

The officers/senior members made a great team, always willing to help out when needed from recruiting to encouraging activity to helping out with admin work when I was unable to be online for a couple weeks. I definitely have no regrets!

I'm glad to hear it came to a fairly painless end. I look forward to playing with all of the new members if I ever manage to stop being a Ghost.
I hear they have a new medication for that.

The Aion chapter will be closing officially on 01/23/2012, as discussed during our meeting 01/20/2012. We had a great run with awesome people.
People were notified via the meeting, MotD, and in-game mail that the legion doors are closing Monday night 1/23/2012. We are looking at Devoted Legacy as a good fit as an option for some of us as they seem to be pvp and pve rather than hardcore pvp focused. "Remember to Buff" has offered open welcome to any SoH that choose to go there. I am sure you will find Zirina and Pesti happy to see you and welcome you to their legion warmly. Everyone is encouraged to stay in touch and will retain friend status on forums for those that visit forums.
Our ventrilo server will run until the end of the billing cycle and be closed.
I just want to say how happy I am that we did rebuild, because I certainly had a great time and have been fortunate to get to know all our members.

Legion Meeting Friday 01/20/2012 9pm EST

OR even better, I will work until 10pm, pass out while watching an episode of Raising Hope, and get up at 7am to start all over. Sucks working so late, but awesome to have work. It will take a couple weeks, but eventually, I will get this doctor down and will be fast enough to finish in a reasonable timeframe. I have a lot of work Wednesday and Thursday, so I may be out or very limited until Friday.

So, as some of you already knew, we had a slumber party Birtday party for our daughter this weekend with 11 kids 11/12 years old. Two of the girls stayed the whole weekend, and they all just left. Great kids, not too much trouble, but makes for a busy weekend.
Anyway, after cleaning up, I think I will be watching some shows and getting to bed. See you all in Aion tomorrow night.
