  1. I think to myself... I will log in now and then to try and get my light of luck updates so that if 2.0 somehow makes me want to come back, I will be full fenris.

I have logged in 13 times now... each time I have run to a minimum of 4 locations (thats 36 chances at the minimum) for light of luck and I have yet to even see what one looks like let alone have a chance to lose it to another player or get one for myself. It's things like this that make me feel better about leaving AION.

  2. Opal and I are testing out the WoW waters ATM, but still have Aion subscription. If we like it we will probably stay. As of yet we are undecided. I will say it is nice to do something new, and it feels good to be rewarded with the level of effort we are putting in. On the other hand the game is not as attractive looking as Aion, but it runs a hell of a lot better too. Just some of my personal insight.

  3. I was not prepared for this tbh. I have always said that what I liked about this guild was that it spanned multiple games and that when it was time to move to a new game it would be great to go with all of my friends. I just never assumed it would happen so quickly and when I was not really ready to leave a game.

When I think of going to WoW I think of falling back into that old tedious schedule of raiding 5 nights a week, dkp points, same zones and instances over and over etc. etc. I just cant do that again yet.

I suppose if I were to go anywhere like that again, I am with Deco, I would go back to EQ2 since I have history there and characters that I would not have to start over with. Plus I already own the game. That would be more of a true temporary situation.

As it stands now, I will hang out and see how things move forward and maybe I will pick up SC2 to pass the time, but I dont think I can move to WoW just yet.

Not to put anyone on the spot, but I would like to know more specifically those that are stayin in AION, those that are moving to WOW and those that are doing neither.

  4. If you run DP focused only on stig shards you can get it done in 3-4 runs total. (Not sure what you have already)

DP is 4 hours to use all the time. Typically you will use about 3 hours if your clearing for updates.

First fort cycle starts at 8 EST and second starts at 11 EST. Since we form up for second cycle about 30 - 45 min early, I would say you need to start at 7:00 to safely make the second fort cycle.

  5. As a side note to this... it is much easier to get officer kills too. There seem to be alot flying around. So I would recommend forming small groups to accomplish this as well and we can all earn some fancy God Stones!

  6. 9:30 EST DP groups will not get completed in time for the Sunday night 2nd fort cycle.

The biggest inner fort nights are Wed and Sun and typically SoH has been doing our guild activity night on Fri and then encouraging Sun night as a guild night to participate in the Abyss.

Is there any way to push your group till after the second fort cycle or earlier to allow you to make the second cycle? We should push for a solid legion presence on Fri and Sun. (A lot of us make Wed too but it has never really been encouraged like Fri and Sun)

(This is all assuming that this is a weekly group set up):)

  7. Not trying to throw a wrench into the works here, but I fear that if we focus on AP gear we are going to find that medals are as scarce of a resource as bloods, if not more.

I know I farmed forts every time they went V back when we owned some. I purchaced my sword and a few jewelry items (1 ring 1 earing) and I barely have enough to buy maybe 1 or 2 more pieces.

    Thoughts?
