I agree, most of my responses were hurried because I had my previous post with much of the silliness. I can tell you everything I know about WW monks, direct you to my sources, or answer any questions about my class if you'd like. I figured I had done the leg work in the past and this was merely to update you on my current status, performance, class, etc. I can understand if the current form was unacceptable and I can scrap it and write one similar to my first one if that is you're wish. If I had ranks on heroic bosses I'd link those but this is what I got, just to show that I know what I'm doing well enough. The fights in ToT don't have mechanics that can be cheesed for the benefit of one person at the sake of the raid performance, that I've noticed at least. If I use SEF on Horridon or Council its to get all the targets down faster, if I stand in a fire/puddles/lines/lightning its to use ToK and get bonus DPS while taking no damage. AOEing on Primordius to get the bloods down before they reach the boss and so others can get the buff faster. And if any of these choices are counter to the guild getting a kill, progression or farm, then I don't do them simple as that. Ranks is how I measure myself against myself one each fight week after week, if I wasn't ranking I'd still be comparing myself to my own DPS or EPeenBot percentile. Its how I perform above and beyond doing the strategy of the kill and the strategy will never suffer for my DPS. If I'm the last on DPS because I had a job to do but the boss dies then thats fine because it means I succeeded in my job, like writing the symbols for the buffs on Twin Consorts. Other than that my job is to do DPS so tracking my logs/ranks is the best way for me to assess improvement.

That obviously came out short of what I was trying to say. Short of them suddenly getting all their shit together and everyone playing at a very high level with no drama and impressive performance. I used to play for a rung in the ladder back in Wrath, now I just want to play around people who play around my level or above and see all the content on a minimal schedule with good people whom i get a long with.

Definitely sure this time. There isn't anything my current guild could do, short of passing up your progression this week, which won't happen. WW monks provide almost an unparalleled level of mobility, I will rarely miss getting into or out of something. Like the many things on Lei Shen or Iron Qon. On a fight like Twin Consorts I took it on myself to learn how to draw the shapes because I could roll and FSK and get it done faster than anyone, getting us the kill after two attempts. On Lei Shen 10 I was able to use my numerous CDs and self heals to keep myself and another dps alive in our own quadrant and soak the Static Shocks by myself. On a fight like Council of Elders I am able to use SEF to spreads out my damage and speed up the fight overall, however I only do this if the fight is on farm or the focus target dies fast enough without me.

1. I tend to avoid either, don't much like the dark sodas and the weird feeling they give your teeth after, much bigger Sprite fan. Who loves orange soda? I do, I do, I dooooo. 2. Guilty pleasure.... Cleared Naxx, Ulduar (All normals and heroics minus Yogg+2 and Mim), ToGC (with insanity), ICC 11/12H. I took a break after ICC and focused on finishing my Bachelors. I didnt raid much in BoT/BWD or FL till I came back strong for DS where I rebuilt my guild and went 8/8H. In T14 I went 6/16H and I'm currently 11/12N in ToT on 25m with Lei Shen down on 10m. For all but Ulduar I was an officer in w/e guild I was in and started my own guild for Heroic ICC, leading raids, main tanking, and handling all guild buisiness. I have laid down the officer mantle to focus on my own performance full time and boy is it working out. I am looking to leve my current guild because they have made choices that confuse and anger me favoring officers who get their mains banned and dont' show up when they are supposed to lead raids among other odd choices. Me: I am 23 and finishing my Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I have been playing WoW since mid 2007 and played an MMO called RYL for several years before that. To be frank (I'm really Matt), I play WoW because nothing else eats up free time like it does. I play to be recognized in every sense of that. I love knowing that I am one of the best, in the best guild, surrounded by the best people, or anythign like that. That being said, I know to be the best I need to work with the best which is why I am applying here. I am a 100% team player and will never be selfish for any reason. I have been a Guild Master, Raid Leader, and Main Tank for the better part of the past 3 years and I know the stresses and requirements that come from that. I have raided at the US and World level back in Wrath and know the devotion and requirements to maintain that ranking. The highest I had achieved was a World #101 Normal Lich King 25. I love to rank and do so almost constantly regularly very high. I know that to rank the boss has to die and for that to happen I have to execute the fight and the guild's strategy perfectly so that always comes first. I check EJ several times a day and know as much about WW as I can. I am trying to learn tank in my free time, but I don't have much of it on the weekends and LFR isn't much of a challenge to test my mettle. I have a healing set with some blues although healing confuses and scares me. I copied most of this from my other thread so I am open to answering questions.

Yeah I looked for your stream at the end of the night when I figured you'd be on empress, but there was no link to a stream in the thread about it and I didn't want to interrupt an attempt to ask ashin on bnet

I also cleared HoF with a friends group, as DPS most of the time, but tanked Amber Shaper, not that empress seems overly difficult from a tank standpoint. Did die on empress because I didnt get any notification that I was being fixated by the little adds, but I'll chalk that up to first time.

I would like it said that my thread is the #3 most responded to thread in this forum and is only about 200 view from passing Hipcheck's introduction. That has to count for something :-D

Forgot to answer part of the question as I'm at work, but I do have a complete DPS set for frost that I am becoming more capable with. The gear is about 485 with sha weapon and legendary gem stuff. To elaborate on above, I don't feel my gear would be a hindrance, but that it would be what takes the longest to bring to par comparable with the rest of the group.

The issues on Stone Guards boggle me and is a main breaking point that I reached. Everything would be great and then suddenly at 60% to the nose, someone would die and we'd wipe. I couldn't figure it out. I know tank swap issues were the cause of 4 wipes and 1 was definitively my fault, the other was a mutual mistake and 2 were my partner taunting the wrong dog off me. As for the social/standby idea I have absolutely no problem doing this, I will be there 100% of the time and take any opportunity to prove myself that is given to me. Understanding the possible risks and understandable lack of willingness for patience I would be more than accepting of this type of a position in preparation of 5.2

We are calling it quits for the guild because it has become exhausting to drag the team through progression. Many of my raiders are slow to learn and even slower to adapt making it nearly impossible to fix a problem and down a boss in the same night. The raiders appeared to stop caring about what happened and very few seemed to want to raid with each other, there was no community outside of raid and an air of drudgery during. Just not a fun experience I had kept myself motivated by attempting to continue to rank on fights that were on farm by doing as much dps as possible, which, in addition to the ease of the farm fights is why my vamp blood usage is lower than it may have been, using it more of a dps CD because it raises my health to allow for more vengeance. Rune tap I have been trying to use more often and have been doing so. As for Will I don't have much of an excuse for the stomp other than misjudging my melee range or running in first rather than out, which may then result in getting hit by a subsequent strike. It's something that I am constantly trying to work on to perfect. One final reason that was eating away at me was that I had begun to slide into the level of play of those around me as I exhausted myself trying to raise their level of play to mine. It's something that would easily change once the level of play around me increases and I rise to the challenge and pressure.

Yes, I am certainly sure this time. I will not pretend that I will be flawless in fights that I haven't really seen even on normal, but my learning curve is quick and I have been trying to read through your strategy discussions about each fight on normal and heroic so that I can be as prepared as possible. In my opinion my gear is the biggest hindrance, although the content was cleared with less before so it can be done. I have no problem attending an alt raid or something similar to ease into it a little more, but would put my best effort into performing wherever needed.

As I said, you would be hearing from me again. It has come time for me to part with my guild as we have decided it is time to go our separate ways and I hI am hoping that my way may lead me into South of Heaven as I have certainly kept the guild in my mind. I had talked to Hip and Ashin and would like to talk further as I believe you are still in need of a Blood Death Knight. I have continued to fall behind your progression and would require a small ramp up period but I still believe I can be a contributing member of the raid team for a long time to come. Hope to hear from you soon, Ashin has me on RealID and I will check this thread like its my job. I also dont' mind starting over if thats the wish.
