  1. I see a lot of people active in the Rift area. Do we have a count of who is going to keep playing Aion? I think if the number is not so large I may lay the game down as I have no interest in restarting with a brand new group of people ._.

There was about 6-8 folks on tonight at peak, but think at least two will be gone in next week or two.

  2. It is a sad day on the whole, but not one that comes as a surprise or a shock. I hope that everyone will keep their heads up and move on strong because even though we won't be SoH in Aion, every one of us will still be SoH in our hearts.

I'll try to be on during peak times so I can friend everyone, although without the legion my playtime might become less frequent than it is already.

    ps:

XORIC! Where you at? What you got to say to this? You moving somewhere else? Us old Skyggsters need to stay together! =P

I feel its a bit sad as is the end of any fun chapter of ones life, but understandable. While I think it is a combination of things the game itself has become a bit dry for me the last few weeks. I anticpate being in game off and on at least tell April. Not sure what I am going to go in game yet. I would hate to get involved in something just to run out on whatever it might be a few months down the road. Sin and Ahlara offered up for folks to join there alt legion, which I would like to see folks stick together. But on that note as a legion we have not strongly been orignizing runs much the last month and would understand folks wanting to join something more originzed to those means.

Would like to thank everyone that spent time with me and made SoH strong even after the split. As well I would like to thank Hunt for keeping the chapter open over the last many months.

  3. A good amount of us have been busy as of late, including myself. So I thought i would bring up I am going to be scheduling more actives if folks are interested. This thread is more for folks that might be interested in posting schedules or better times of days so perhaps I can plan to get more people involved in my runs. Also was hoping to get a good day to possibly do legion pvp run through abyss/ingisson. A lot of folks mentioned pvp in our last meeting and though perhaps if we go nutz on some elyos together it would be a good start.

  4. Heya Jandrea, glad you made your way here. I know there is a lot a game buzz about Star Wars coming up, but with all things you never know tell a release date is actually set. Will try to get you a bit more info later.

  5. I will believe kysis is fixed when I see it. As far as the rest of the patchs I kind of lost excitement with them. I like the sounds of a lot of it, but kind of feel they are making changes a bit to fast. Maybe I am old and unflexable but I dont really feel they let one set of changes settle before making the next.

  6. Vox hope to see you in a couple months. If not then, hopefully down the road and if not in Aion future games. Keep in touch if you can.

  7. Well for me I had a hard time with this question because I had a +7 DDK at the time which was comparable damage and 2.0 was already out so chances of better weapon was defently available. Needless to say I had a drop off on damage when I first switched to fenris, but the one thing you defently notice was the increase in HP. While not the majority of fights, I have still had fair amount where 650hp made the difference.

As far as the bow, a glad only really needs a bow with good attack speed. Any bow with this stat would pretty much set you for life, because the only time we really use the bow is chasing a target and realisticly your looking to slow down and not really kill them with it. The attack speed would give an increased chance for immo, slow or even para stone to proc as your hitting more often; as well as crit stuns. Once you close the gap your back to your PA or GS. That being said there is a lot of options for this, plat coin weapon, pvp, lannok and even expert korie bow was on market for 28mi and could probably be purchsed for 23. Using the bow you would never get the benefit of the high HP and other stats the fenris quest weapon would offer.

Sword I think is one of your two best options, it could sit primary hand tell you get something better. You gain benefit of HP for PvE which is good and attack speed. It opens up what weapons improve your main hand as you no longer need a weapon with attack speed so you can go for weapons with raw damage and stats. That being said I think the other of the two best options would be warhammer. Warhammer sits on high end damage, with +30 attack and 19% attack speed. As well if you place damage GS in it your getting magic boost. I remind that weapons magic boost only comes from primary hand unless it is a secondary stat. So you would place it in main hand for max MB effect, but even in off hand it would give 66. I have heard a lot of good things about two mace DW sets. I noticed high proc damage on my 1880 1% stone when I was using a mace. So I really think between the two your trying to juggle faster attacks vs higher damage, but both would be good options.

    Just my thoughts on it,

  8. I would say I am opposed to doing something like this. Or voting for option one. I think most of the reasoning behind the orignal thread still applies. But also I give away every blood I get to legionmates currently working on HHoM and I believe a good portion of legion members finished with Proving Pro fall in the same catagory. By orginizing a blood bank system I think we would be adding time and management to something that would change very little other then time spent managing and distributing. If people feel they are not gaining from gifted bloods and this would resolve the problem I really dont think that would be the case. Its not like as a whole we are bringing in bloods hand over feet, so at any one time the blood bank would only have so many. Then it becomes a first come first serve issue on who gets to buy when the person in charge of distrubting happens to be on.

    Just my two cents.

  9. Welcoem to the forums,

Currently we are sitting on I think 3 active 50+ clerics and one advancing mid-high 40s. Each with various play times. While I think most of us take great pride in how dynamic SoH can be with our group make ups and be successful, cleric still tends to stand out if non-happen to be available.

Regarding instances of each kind, we have a few ways we do it. An effective planned run scheduled through forums. Folk sign up and is not always first come first serve. This allows us to keep everyone working together and geared even when our schedules dont always allow for quick pick ups. We also tend to have pick up runs going with in legion chat. Dredgion is a bit more dynamic as we sometimes have a lot of folks doing it and other times only a few. It really depends on what day it is and if it falls on big fort push nights. We dedicate some nights to forts and sometimes this can consume the night or dredge times as the case may be.

As far as group hugs we dont do them anymore, because there was an issue with Scorpio grabbing peoples behinds.

There is more that go into most of this, but I hope it helps answer your questions.

  10. Zomb, your mean for bringing this up after passing yoru pants :p

I am not so sure blood drop rate did not get increased, there is serveral factors that go into why blood prices have gone up. Rate of drop decreases based on your lvl compared to mobs and we are all 5 lvls higher then we used to be. As well with folks all 5 lvls higher there is far less places they can be farmed in general.

Good luck on your HHoM folks, my your fortune be better then mine.
