      and apparently my Windows CD doesn't prompt to delete/reformat the partition prior to (re)installing Windows? That's fucking dumb. It just fails because there isn't enough space on the C drive.

      found it. Oh and lol at this... I had an unpartitioned hard drive space totaling over 800 gigs. I was confused as to why my 1 TB hard drive was suddenly reduced to ~100 gigs. Reinstalling Windows anyways. Hope the OEM bullshit doesn't factor in for authentication.
