I'm sure you've noticed that I've simply just not been on (for those that know who I am). It seems MMOs must take the backseat for a while, unfortunately. I've enjoyed Aion and playing with you guys very much, but I just don't have the time to dedicate to an MMO at the moment, and I don't know when I will. When I find the time to end my hiatus, I will be back with a vengeance. Until then, however, I must bid everyone a temporary, but indeterminate, good bye. Keep on fighting the good fight! South of Heaven is a great community and I'm happy to be a part of it!

Sorry I haven't been on in a while, both on Aion and on the forums. I just haven't had the time to dedicate that I used to. I'm hoping this workload will lighten up soon. I miss hanging out with you guys!

In the meantime I will keep getting on here and there to try and run Taloc to keep getting some kind of level progression. But seriously, my video game time has been cut significantly. And I'm none to happy about not being able to play video games. It's really the only thing that keeps me sane.

I did not make it to this Sunday's fort cycle, but heard through the official forums that Elyos took a Balaurea fort from us? Does this change our focus at all in regards to Balaurea forts?

Thank you for clarifying the fort priorities. If Wednesday and Sunday 10pm cycles are priority then I will make sure to be there. It's way easier to mitigate GF aggro anyway if I can have set days I do the 10pm cycles. GF aggro is the sole reason for my not playing as much as I used to btw. At first it was no big deal, but I think a year of it has gotten to her so now I'm obliged to spend "quality" time. /shakefist

I'd definitely like some input on Balaurea forts. Are they always optional then? I feel like the 9pm Balaurea turn-outs are directly related to the 10pm UA turn-outs.

I also want to announce that the reason I've been on the forums less and less is because I was recently promoted to Director of Human Resources (hooray for me!) in addition to my current Marketing Director position. The increased workload has literally filled in all of my free time and I've even had to stay late =/ I guess that goes with the territory.

I'll try and make an appearance as much as possible but it is definitely not going to be as often as before.

This seems like it could end in a similar fashion to being picked last for dodgeball. You know, for the ones who get adopted last or not at all.

As a preemptive measure I will adopt these poor souls; the ones that are so horrible and so frustratingly annoying that no one could ever actually WANT to adopt them. I will show them kindness and compassion, I will show them that life can be good, and that not everyone will treat them with contempt. It will be large undertaking, as I would be dedicating my life to help the untouchables, the unclean, the unloved. Their miserable existence will now be my cross to bear.

I have a long list of great activities that will excite the mind and keep us occupied for hours!

So...Ashin, what time do you want me to pick you up for these activities?

There was a lot of talk about localizing the patch content. I'm thinking this is the US localization patch, ie, make it much easier for the QQ Americans. I'm curious if C/K-Aion got these same updates.

I like this Shulack coin business for getting the Drana Fragments. I just don't have the time for DP runs and I need my effing stigma slot!

I am still working on this. 65 Frags left. Usually Tuesdays are the best for me (minimal gf aggro as she works late most Tuesdays). Don't know if she's working late today though. If so, then I'd love to get another chunk of these fragments out of the way.

I guess today and tomorrow will be when we see if balaur forts are every night.

Also, how awesome are balaurea battles! The leagues make it so much easier to control it seems. For once it feels like it's completely even between Elyos and Asmodians. A nice back and forth. Got 388 kills last night =D Definitely a new record for me.

Does anyone know what the exact schedule for Balaurea forts is?

It seems like its everyday at 9pm.

That seriously puts a hinder on my progression as my play schedule is pretty much restricted to 7pm-10pm every day. Some Tuesdays I can play late, which is why I like tuesday DPs.

I love forts, that's one of my favorite parts of Aion, so I don't want to miss epic Balaurea battles. But trying to level to 55 while having to devote at least 8:30pm-10pm to forts makes it tough.

Are there particular days that balaurea forts don't go vuln so I can plan some heavy grind days or knock out some instances (still need SR part of spirit blade and 65 frags from DP for stigma). I'm used to forts wed/fri/sat/sun, doing forts everyday kinda burns you out.

Having no flight in Balaurea fights seems to even the field. I don't know why. Maybe it's because Deities can't just pop wings and fly away when they start dying, they get backed into a corner and then meet their Maker sooner.

It's nice only having to worry about in front of you or behind you. No more divebombing shit.

Will also make defenses significantly easier. Taking out their kisks will be easier too at first. Odds are they will put them where we put ours in their land. At the portal exit. Will be easy to send out a small expedition to wipe their kisks. And when kisks go down and they die, there's a whoooole elite zone for them to trickle back through. Will make re-rallying tough for them.

This should be very very fun.

Downing our fort, rifting to their side and wiping them at their fort before they could capture. Yep, fucking epic.

I did notice that a a growing number of Elyos are 54-55. PvEing bastards.

Well done to the Asmodians who easily took the first fort in Gelmarkos and then got the 2nd fort down to 5% in one cycle, and then to come as one giant force to take Kysis. The first Upper inner fort owned by the faction, since merger. I greatly enjoyed taking Kysis and it was really fun. I hope we can continue to work together and take the fight to the Elyos.

Crap laptop = craptop.

I just upgraded from my craptop to a sweet desktop. Now I run everything maxed no problem. Without shiftf12 forts can slow down to 10-15fps.

I always do shift f12 out of habit now anyway. It's way too confusing without using it. Wings all in your face and shit.

GF aggro is very real and affects many of us. I've been living with GF aggro for almost 2 years now. Some days are easier than others. Just stay positive and take it one day at a time. You aren't alone.

Let's start a GF/Wife Aggro Awareness Week. GFAAW (guffaw). We could do a sponsored walk and everything.

I think Balaurea needs to be the main focus. 2 Abyss fort nights/week should be plenty considering there will be Balaurea forts.

Should definitely be a good time regardless what we do.

anyone know how much ap the lvl 55 stuff with cost?... I am not sure if I want to go ahead and get the lvl 40 set for my cleric for sick MR, or save my crowns for the lvl 55 stuff. I have decided to go armor over weapon first since i am a cleric.

scratch that...i found it. 2 mil + ap and 109 platinum medals..................pffft...I'll be getting the 40 stuff.

Little under 50k AP for my 40 non-elite gold bow.

And Mordrid I hate you. Well I hate glads. A geared glad can melt through any leather wearer. Unbuffed my HP is under 5k. So yea, auto-attacking me for 700-800 would pretty much end me, especially with knockback.

And that's why I hate geared glads.

I can't wait for level 50s QQing that they are being ganked by level 55s. Their tears will sustain me.
