Looks like my subscription will run out on the 1st March, and I will be trying out Rift. So you wont see me in Aion for a while, but Ashy and I will probably come back at some stage to check out any major improvements they make, or if Rift doesn't pan out. It was a pleasure to meet you all and I've enjoyed my time here and will miss everyone.

I'm going to be checking out an Unofficial Oceanic PVE RP server, Faeblight I think it is in Rift Should make things easier for us in our play times, spending hours upon hours every night LFG does get to you after a while. Ashy and I will definitely make a toon to be on the same Rift server as you guys and we will stop by from time to time on our weekends, when we can sync our times better with yours. We'll do some Warfronts with your alts etc and stay in touch that way.

I don't have any solid plans for joining a new legion and its not something I ever do lightly. I've looked at 39 Guild Websites so far and none of them have struck me like SoH did, kind of makes me wonder why I am saying goodbye. I've MMO'd on US based PvP server, Oceanic PvP server, US PvE and that only leaves Oceanic PvE to try. Based on my playtime and my willingness to adjust may play times to suit the server type, I think an Oceanic PvE server will suit me best.

It's been a pleasure and an honor to game with all of you, and I look forward to playing with you all in the not too distant future.

Things to do in Ing.

I'd be interested in getting a grp together at some stage and heading over to Ing. They have the weekly spy quests now so more people as a general rule should be heading over, and conversely more Elyos should be coming to Gelk to complete their versions. Might be interesting to look up exactly what they need to do so we know which areas of Gelk to watch for random Elyos. Anyhow, 2 of the Spy quests are fairly easy the target mobs Zeuss and Agent Greenlake aren't hard to get too, though they are on the roads so expect PvP unless your a Sin and don't want to PvP. THe third one requires you to find the Balaur Treasure chest in the middle of Hanarkand ... which is a tough Elite/see invis area .. so you'd need a grp to clear and look and kill Elyos etc. Soooooo, 3 spy quests = 6 tokens per week ... 24 per month ... throw in Daily tokens as well .. Token rewards will be rolling in, aka Crowns, Godstones and Ench Stones. :-)

Another reason to go to Ing, is I need to finish up my PvP quest line and get the Officer Godstone .. Eventually I'll have that Eternal crafted weapon, and I'll need to find a Godstone for it. :-)

I'd like to do Besh more, the front half can be done without a temp easily enough, and seeing as we lack temps ... :-) With the increased drop rate in Balic Mats and quite a few of us needing to hit 500 in our crafts this week, I'd love to go to Besh and farm the Balaur in there from the front half ...

As for play time ... 8am to 1pm EST normally lol :-) I can play other times, just takes alot of juggling and an almost ironclad assurance that it will happen.

I saw Yina the other day in game and I'm like I know that name from somewhere ... I guess I had seen you around in EQ all those years ago.

I played on Bertox and belonged to two guilds there, Omani for which I was a founding member=) ( Its still going strong today) and Prophecy. I played a chanter and a cleric. My wife still plays to this day. Its probably my favorite MMO of all time but I finally got ao a point that the GUI was just too awkward and the graphics to lame rofl.

I try to put both chars through Dredge at 7PM most weekdays. I also play very regularly on the weekend. I'm also on early mornings before I go to work. Please look me up if any of those times works for you=)

I played a Ranger ( Vermillion in Guilds Crimson Twilight and Far East ) on Drinal for a long time, forget what level I got too eventually, but I capped AA at what was then 1200 or something ... When I think of the good old days of my MMO days, it's EQ, so many fond memories ... Looks over at Sinat and Ahlara, can't remember your Druid Ahlara, what was your clerics name Sinat ?

Which server did you play EQ on ?

This is a PvP game, if your not on your main, getting better, or helping people get better on theirs, your doing it wrong, going against the grain and it really really bothers me. Its hard enough to find a grp in the off hours, and people who play alts in their off hours contribute to the problem.

It's really hard to remain civil to people when their main is a needed class for a grp you've been trying to fill for the last 2+ hours and they are off on a me me me me rush levelling some alt who I just know will be requesting resources time/mats/etc from the legion at a later stage.

This is a PvP server, if we want to stay competitive and relevant, we need to invest as much time as possible in gearing our mains.

I will actively oppose the idea of any type of Alt activities.
