What's up guys, this is Xev (Xevsth on FFXIV), Monk Specialist, and I am trialing for Team Sapphire for the FFXIV Chapter.
When it comes to raiding and experiences with it, I did play WoW for a time as a rogue, WotLK just started and formed a ministatic with friends I used to team with in other games. While in my belief atleast, we were highly successful in the content we did, our group personally was only 8/10 people and pugging the content and some other content discrepancies at the time turned us off of the game. Much much later on I move to FFXIV, I've always been on Leviathan, initially starting in 2.0 where I eventually found a static and progressed up up and away through content to down Twintania at not the fastest but a pretty good time, I believe it was either the last day before twister nerf or the day after, been too long. The lower party sizes were great but the real thing I loved in comparison to WoW was the individual responsibility per mechanics. At that point though, the game was early, and with Twintania on farm and not much else to do, once again retiring my character and saving some sweet moolah for icecream and popsicles until Heavensward (more accurately like 3 weeks after HW came out rip esos).
What else is there to know? I used to be highly competitive in my younger free time is every time days, enjoying Mechwarrior 4 Vengance, Counter-Strike, a bunch of PVP MMOs and shooters, and a bunch of stuff including, fighting games I'm not good at like SF3: 3rd Strike and Smash Bros Melee, along with many other things that slip my mind. Currently just enjoying my free time, as a Uni student for CS, dabbling in whatever I can when I have it.
P.S. If anyone wants to drop some Monk bombs / talk Monk, I'd probably be interested as a year or more of not playing probably has stuff missing from changes.
