Absolutely despise Act 2, for two reasons: For no reason I drop to 6fps any time I am near water here, and it reminds me WAY too much of D2 A2... Some Blizz dev is proud as hell at himself for paying tribute to a game he probably worked on.

Not that I'm saying there won't be an abundance of set/legendaries @ 60, but after getting 40 and seeing 0 set/legendaries, I guess the game is REALLY REALLY tuned for endgame?
Kinda makes me feel.. less awesome when I see nothing but the VERY occasional rare drop.
-
As far as I can tell, the Legendaries replace the "Unique" category of items from D2.
Interesting.
Also, the amount of Legendaries/Sets I have gotten is: 0. Are they supposed to be MEGA EXTRA RARE?
-
Seems to me like Legendary is just another name for 'rare' since there's mass 'Legendaries' on Day 3
-
Not to mention there's a mysterious bug where players(at random, almost) experience crippling performance drops in any areas with water, and to a lesser extent, fire(torches). Folks who run WoW on Ultra(not easy) can't get any decent FPS on D3's watery areas, at the lowest possible settings.

Activision/Blizzard makes the claim that together they can produce top notch gaming on every spectrum across the board. Personally, based on the instability they had with Open Beta Weekend, they should have taken steps above and beyond what was 'projected' in an effort to produce their vision of top notch gaming.
The amount of bugs, dupes, and other major issues is pretty alarming, as there were MANY bugs that were prominent on day one, and there were no less than 3 easily searchable dupe methods that were confirmed to work.
My biggest issue with the whole process isn't only in bugs and server stability, but Blizzard is famous for the 'when it's ready' mantra, and D3 launched without PVP and the RMAH has been pushed back AGAIN. To me, this does not seem like the game was ready.
I want to emphasize that I'm not saying the game is boring/garbage, but specifically talk about Day 1 issues, etc.

Skimming that article after a glass of wine, I have to say that I'm totally confused about what the fee schedule is.
Like Merri, I will put some stuff up. But I will not buy.
This. I will 99.9999% likely only buy with money I have pulled out of it(can you do that?) So that any $ I spend is $ I earned in game through selling on RMAH

They just did a restart

Yeah we didn't have soul harvest at such a low level during the last beta I tried. It does seem quiet overpowered.
Open beta weekend I believe it was added, the crazy thing is, it scales with int, so the more int you have the more it gives. I wonder what it will be at endgame...
Also, they seem to be generous enough to have bosses spawn minions for healthm and this also works with SH. Love it.
Note, a second application of itself doesn't look to scale again, which is understandable. The ONLY drawback I see is the(semi) long cooldown, which can bite you if you use it vs 2 monsters then see 5
-
Also, it seems like I see NO demon hunters, I had a very not fun time playing one. Witch doctor level 10 that soul harvest thing is just absurdly strong, you wreck packs of monsters with your +150 or more int buff, and splinters is just crazy strong as well. Add in the semi-tanky hellhounds and its just such a great feeling crushing through huge packs of enemies. If you time your soul harvest recast you basically have 2 mana bars to breathe fire through, and nothing but huge boss monsters last more than a few seconds.

First choice: Witch Doctor. Second choice: Witch Doctor

I always found it very ironic that the people who love it the most buy the CE but then are unable to play at launch. I think they should be given a digital download code at pre-order if it's done through Blizzard
This x53682052

Digital download all the way :]
CE wasn't available that way

I expect that from 3am to 4am there will be a shitstorm
By 5am it will be good.

I think the earplug went to his brain.

You can play it alone..
To rephrase, there's no offline play
-
Cons: It's not available to play at this exact moment.

Dont go to bed and use energy drinks !
And then drive a 66,000lb, $1,800,000 piece of machinery.
Also I keep forgetting I won't get it from UPS until tomorrow anyways.

1: Non-shared loot
2: It's Diablo 3
3: It's multiplayer only. Well that's no good, but I MIGHT overlook it
4: You can craft items.
5: It's the best thing since forever.
What are your pros/cons about D3?
-
What's sad is that someone would actually pay that much for it.
Indeed. I'm SOOOOO disappointed that I will be working at launch... Well technically I could play @ midnight but... 5:00 wakeup will be brutal, especially after waiting to log in for 1 hour
-
what if they want to sell something for $1000.
It makes me sad that people will sell 'Cruel Colossus Blade of Evisceration' for more than I pay in rent.

Seen an article today..
http://www.diablo3goldguide.net/2012/05/rmah-threatened-and-paypal-fees-removed.html
Is showing that the RMAH has been delayed one week, but their source link doesn't prove it, and I don't see it showing on google...

In order to be eligible for "One of the Chosen," you must have had a Diablo III closed beta license attached to your Battle.net account (it isn't necessary to have downloaded or logged into the beta itself).
This kills me. If you got an invite and didn't play or even download the client, you need the feat 'One of the Idiots.'
So yeah inferno is hard....
in Diablo 3

I'm soloing/duoing my way through Inferno on my WD, and I can say that I despise many of the combos I've come across...
Plagued Molten Waller Immortal Minions is up there, as well as Arcane Enchanted Desecrater Jailer Mortar
I have to say the only feasible way I see to beat 90% of the packs in Inferno is to have an absurd amount of resist all, and some luck.
