Hey guys.. The names Jess! I'll try super hard to not ramble! >.<
I just spoke with Mr Bancroft (apparently we met in a past life! strange I know) and decided to post an introduction of myself.
I currently play a holy paladin named Jessicat. Here is her armory: My Silly Little Jessicat!
I know that y'all already have a recruit but I figured I would put my information up just in case things didn't work out
I'm 24 year old armed services member stationed in Missouri. I have been playing this game going on 7 years. Originally a priest, but switched to Pally for this expansion.
I have seen every end game boss from T4-T12 (Except T8 because I was in Basic Training at that time.) I have been an avid raider since I learned what raiding was! I know how to number crunch my toon and theory craft stats and what not. I always try to educate myself on whatever changes are being implemented and whatever new content is coming out. I am sort of a book nerd so researching things comes easy to me, hehe.
As far as my situation and why I am looking for a new guild... its pretty simple really:
Time Constraints!
I am currently in school and am unable to make such early raid times as the ones my guild is currently doing. It also doesn't help that we have been hit hard by the attendance bug and holding onto reputable recruits is proving difficult. Competent raiders are a hard find these days!
* There are a few things I can guarantee if I was part of your raid team:
No-Bullshit attitude
110% effort on each and every encounter
Flexibility when it comes to progression/learning new content/wipes
Damn near 100% attendance (unless scary things happen irl)
Punctual and prepared for each and every raid
Some serious laughs! (I'm super silly and love to have a good time )
As for what I expect from a raid.. It's simple really. I just want a guild that has a close core group. I am interested not only in killing bosses but also the social aspect to raiding. I would rather raid with a group of amazingly awesome people who were 6/7 Norm FL rather than raid with assholes at 6/7 HM FLs. I love a guild with diversity and flavor! If a guild doesn't have a personality, then that's a no-go for me! I would say I'm charismatic and charming and if I have trouble getting a long with someone... then just ew. Other than that, I expect serious and like-minded raiders who are going to put as much effort into their toon/raid/guild as I do.
As for my playstyle... I would say I have a very cookie cutter Holy build as well as cookie cutter glyphs/enchants/gems/forging. I play a haste/spirit build for 10 mans because there are many fights I am backing up raid healing so its easy to be able to drop DL bombs on tanks as well as heal raid when appropriate and necessary. I mainly use GRID, DBM, and Decursive and A LOT of /Focus targeting. I have a few videos (H.Magmaw and Ragnaros) if you'd like to lol at how chaotic it looks on my end while I'm healing.
