EQ2 is a great example of what a poor release can do to your game. If that game had been more solid at release, I bet it would have ten times those numbers (and I agree about the PvE part).

On a side note it saddens me to see that eq2 now has about 150,000 subscribers right now. It's probably the best PvE game out right now .

No offense to you, but I always hated that about EQ2. They always catered to the people they were trying to get back and screwed the people that paid every month.

A paying account should get the rewards.

Yeah, i can see where you are coming from. But it's really nice for people that come back to get a nice little bonus.

I am a remnant of the WoW era of SoH and I am very proud to say in the coming months i will be a 4 year vet of this wonderful guild.

I played aion at launch and got a templar to 19, but due to coming off a 4 month eq2 binge i was rather burnt out on MMO's all together which sadly resulted in me leaving Aion. I liked aion, but at the time i just was not up to a game like aion.

But after taking a break and refreshing my batteries I realized that i missed SoH and didnt wanna miss the Aion chapter of SoH.

I am easy going and some what funny....i think....

i like nearly every type of music you can think of though i lean toward metal/hard rock.

I love video games, bbq, cooking,aggravating ashin,insulting ska, and being loved by flip,mud, and yevern.

In my real life. I am farmer,which is kind unexpected if you knew me IRL.Considering i have told every one since i was little that i never wanted to farm.

I work on my fathers farm. He has been a traditional row crop(corn/cotton/peanuts/hay/cows etc) farmer all his life. But about 2 years ago he started talking about getting out of that and into doing blackberries and blueberries. Which this summer we will pick our first crop of blackberries.

We are currently preping land for blueberries right now and we will probbaly pick our first crop in 2012.

when is this graphical update from the vision trailer gonna happen?

The guild overall is not as in-love with arena.net as I am (they are my favorite devs right after CCP). I would say FFXIV, GW2 and SWtOR all have some degree of "potential" as a "next game", but the only of those three that I have seen the guild totally high over was SWtOR.

Well, SWtOR has had a little more hype for it at this point in time than GW2 has. People know more about classes, seen some gameplay etc etc. Plus everyone is a star wars fan.

Arena.net has been kinda hush hush and The guildwars 2 website pretty much functions like vanguards website did. Just art and story with no information on classes,gameplay, or much else. I was planning on starting a hype thread when ever there was some actual information worth post. Or hell i just might make one so i have something to post about.

I can't speak for the guild but I know my next mmo is gonna be gw2. When i saw the first preview trailer I was sold.

I have a hard time believing wows market share. It is my opinion that thier subscription numbers are greatly overstated
