  1. Aion being the middle ground between old school and wow is a pretty accurate statment. There is an element of a grind but in never once felt that i was not heavly rewarded in some way. Be it that I got a level grinding fluxes or made 50kk from items and trashs from that grind.

  2. If any of you feel that you guys dont want to play anymore. I strongly suggest giving your kinah to the guild vault. It would go a long long way in helping SoH's Aion chapter out.

  3. I have decided to not renew my account for Aion. I will still be overly active on the forums as usual though. Wish you guys the best of luck in aion.

  4. There was a game informe article back a few months ago. It was a preview of the game and they were saying ncsoft had to take the Korean client and add in more quest and stuff. Basically to make it appeal to the western markets.

  5. Ncsoft actually had to go back in to Aion to add in the quests/westernized MMO aspects of this game. I guess that being multipul quest hubs etc etc. So yeah there is a shell of a westernized MMO, but at the heart of it it's still very eq1-light.

IMO though if you want to level at a decent pace you are just better off working on your campaign quests ,and grind for trade skill mats tradeskills.

  6. Speaking from a the perspective of a templar. Combat is right up there with wow in terms of responsiveness. Although, just from watching pvp videos and playing the pace of combat seems a little slow to me.
