  1. Oh, this should be fun. Tips for fighting an engineer:

    Circle strafe and you win.

Engis do an incredible amount of damage, however all of their telegraphs are so tiny that when combined with server lag become next to impossible to hit anything on the move. You can effectively fight one without taking any damage whatsoever. If you go up against an Engi with a repair/ bruiser bot out. Just run, they will have no way of chasing you down...in reality same can be said for all Engi in general.

  2. I level up to aoes on a regular basis. I have never had issues with them at all. The only time they have ever been in on a fight with me has been when two of wyvern people we just previously killed were near them and engaged on us. The Aoes near them probably felt obligated to help.

  3. It's not my idea, we have had a list since I can remember.

-Oh and IMO Wyvern is definitely still a member of the list. I personally seriously hate them, all of them. I don't know how many others have had issues with them, but my own have been nothing but gank/grief. 90% of the exiles I come across are non-issue, these guys always seem to give ruckus.

Hard gaming joined in on vindicatus spawn camping myself in malgrave. It was just one or two guys who I have put on my personal rival list. Before the list had perimeters I added the entire guild, but am completely ok with just making these two guys life rough. Which as Noesis can attest, has been quite a success.

  4. That's right, the list... don't mess with it.
Guilds that are to be given no quarter:

-Glory of the Fallen (Whitevale scumbaggery)

-Nexus Corps (Bullying in Crimson Badlands)
    -The Vindicators (Whitevale scumbaggery)
    -Wyvern (Always give ruckus!)

  5. Hey guys, my favorite time is coming up. With launch around the bend, there is little to do but think of how awesome you want to make your hero. Time to pull out the calculators and get to the theory craft!!!!

Anyway, I'll start us off with what I could see as a potentially great engi dps for pvp.

With this armor pen build, I am hoping that all the numbers work out to the point where you can almost spam someone to death with physical mayhem. It should hopefully be a nice switch from the electrocute builds that are so prevalent. Granted I had elder gems I would definitely take unstable anomaly to t8, but will leave it here for now.

My rotation would be obstruct vision, into unstable anomaly, into hopefully an instant cast bioshell, into bolt caster into hopefully another instant cast bioshell, maybe some 1 spam, and repeat.

I don't know, I see a lot of synergy in these abilities, what do you all think?

  6. I totally feel you, this game has completely grown on me. At first I was thrown off by the graphics as well, but they grew to be one my favorite parts of the game.

I agree that the game has so much to offer, plus the humor is top notch. Goblin punting was definitely one of my favorite things in WAR, looking forward to doing again to the furries.

  7. I feel like I know you so much more now that we have this bond.

What is your take on Wildstar? Why are you interested in it? I know you recently discovered it, but why does it hit you? What turned you onto it?

How do you feel about raiding and pvp, or the simple fact that we will be playing on a pvp server? What is your take on Chua?

  8. What if someone left to "join" another guild, but they never did and henceforth stopped playing the game as a whole.

How each chapter handles multi-guild membership is left up to the discretion of the chapter lead. I believe that both of our chapters share the same point of view, which is that as long as your activity and conduct justify continued membership in our guild, we don't mind if you also belong to other guilds. I underline that word because if someone were to quit this guild and join another, then we are no longer talking about multi-guild membership at all. We're simply talking about a decision to quit.

    Does that answer your question?

By this statement it makes me believe that you see "membership" as not based on loyalty to the guild as an entity but obedience to the chapter overlord. If a multi-year/game veteran decides that a particular chapter is not right for them, they essentially lose all credibility with the guild as a whole if they want to venture into new options? All of the YEARS are essentially flushed? How does that begin to make sense?

  9. The way I read it, you are better off leaving "on good terms" and not communicating with the guild for very long stretches of time apposed to disagreeing with something leaving the guild's chapter, yet actively participating every day... Interesting.

  10. What about people who have played actively and participated with the guild for YEARS in several different chapters, in fact have lead chapters, and decide to stop playing in a particular chapter because of "events". Yet still actively participate on the forum and with members in games that are not "official". Are they "friends"?

  11. LoL is only half as bad as Dota2, let me assure you. That being said, great topic. The "toxicity" seems very prevalent in Moba's; helps clarify why a bit. Hopefully other companies such as valve will walk the same path.
