  1. Yea just on the first few attempts I tested I had already increased my healing by close to 16 million
  2. So did some testing last night Hip. Did a lot of testing with the sanctified wrath/light's hammer combo and found a nice spot in my rotation for a constant SS. It's lookin really good.
  3. Sounds good Hip, and I appreciate it. I think we have an interview set up for Monday unless I hear otherwise.
  4. She actually just quit WoW after playing for 5 years. Work has been too tiring for her to hop on and raid after. I'm sure she'll be back, she always returns at some point.
  5. Haha, good thing she's not too involved in my WoW life
  6. Yes I definitely agree Sacred Shield was an oversight and should have been something that I should have tested no matter the opinions of others during beta. I underestimated Sacred Shields utility, which was definitely a mistake on my part, but I'm not one to make a mistake and then repeat it. That oversight was my mistake, and I will learn from that which will do nothing but further improve my performance.
  7. It looks incredibly better then what I was led to believe from beta. Looks like sacred shield is my new best friend. Unfortunately it looks like I just went off of some bad advice in regards to it. A mistake I won't make again.
  8. That's actually refreshing to see, unfortunately I think I was going off of most opinions during beta and I'm glad to see that proven wrong, I'll be using Sacred Shield much much more.
  9. Hey Chainsaw, My favorite tank fight at the moment is Will of the Emperor because it reminds me the most of dancing engulfing flames from Heroic Rag, and I love fights that constantly keep a tank on their toes. I think prot pallies at the moment really shine on Gara'jal because of our ability to mitigate heavy amounts of physical dmg and on fights like Feng and Kings where our Devo Aura and Potential BoP's really provide a lot of potential for freeing up raid cooldowns. As well as WoG for spike self healing to free up mana from healers. 1st Ability I add is WoG, I constantly am looking for raid members that are low HP and if I am at a safe health I'll throw WoG's their way to save the healers mana. 2nd is Devo Aura, its the most clutch magic dmg cooldown for intense magic aoe in the game (imo). and lastly SoTR uptime, the amound of physical dmg it mitigates saves more healer mana than any other tank ability besides Blood DK shield. I chose Hit/Exp cap because of Threat Gen, Dmg increase from not getting alot of misses/dodge& parries, and the most important is the more I hit and not get avoided the more uptime I have on SoTR which in turn leads to more healer mana saved. As far as Mastery Stacking, currently yes Haste is more important than mastery as the haste reduces more cooldowns, and gets me more holy power faster, which further increases my SoTR uptime, however I would like to get to around 4% haste as im currently around 1.5% haste but I haven't been lucky enough to get the pieces to help provide that haste and reforging into it would have to tap into my hit and expertise which I am unwilling to sacrafice at the current gear set. Holy Avenger I believe is the best talent in that tier as provides a unbelievable amount of burst dps/threat when needed and provides me with 100% uptime on SoTR when popped for Will of Emp outside of the combo. I was using Holy Prism last night on feng because healing was a serious issue for us last night so I was testing it out to see how much it would help. I switch that talent out per fight, for Ex, Will I use execution sentence because I don't have enough in melee range to make Prism Viable, for heavy stacked fights in melee range I will also use Lights hammer to help with heavy AoE dmg phases. When I use Holy prism, I bind it to SoTR so I ensure that it goes off every 20 seconds on the dot, same with execution sentence I often bind it to My SoTR as well to make a stress free way of ensuring it goess off on CD with no loss of downtime. Lights Hammer I use seperately on a different bind for AoE dmg phases. I use OmniCC for cooldown timers and Mik's Battle Text sound alerts me with an icon for every Major CD that falls off CD. Boss Timers I have DBM boss timers easily viewable for callouts and preparing for all incoming abilities. With Sacred Shield, many prot pallies view it as a pathetic talent tier, and since it uses a whole GCD it is very spotty of when I'll use it. Yes I agree I could definitely be using it more on myself or others, but I often have to weigh it vs other abilities I have waiting off cooldown and if another ability is higher in the priority for that GCD unfortunately sometimes Sacred Shield is left out. But once again its definitely something I need to work on fitting in more.
  10. Yes indeed, I just recently changed my name back to what it was in Cata.
  11. Schedule is the best fit raiding schedule i've had in a few years, Shouldn't be any issues. The only thing I guess to put out there, is my wife and I are taking are first vacation to San Francisco 11/21 through that sunday. But other than that, I've always had 100% attendance. I should have been more clear about when I started tanking, I was still tanking on this paladin for T11, but it was very casual as my work schedule at the time didn't let me raid seriously. Once T12 kicked in, I basically got to make my own work schedule and that's when I kicked tanking into full gear. Yes I have tanked on my Blood DK alt in Firelands and DS in our Alt Raids or whatever pugs I could grab. I have also messed around with Protection Warriors some but I don't like the feel of it. What drew me to Pally Tanking was its pure utility. Protection paladins have the ability to make so many raid adjustments on a per encounter basis to give an edge where as warriors can just shield wall and last stand. For example, If theres a lack of paladins in the raid I can go talent Clemency for Dual Hand of Protections for Spirit Kings to free the pinned arrows vs sticking with my standard build for other fights. Or if healing is lacking on Gara'jal I can run Holy Prism instead of Execution Sentence for extra AoE heals for those in melee range. I feel that no other tanking class besides Brewmasters have any similar utility. And of course Devo Aura for raid wide magic dmg is so critical to have an extra one from a Tank and not just Holy/Ret Paladins. And I also feel that we are the best physical damage tank besides brewmasters. With proper Holy Power management we have insane uptime on SoTR, Glyphed Divine Prot, GoAK, Weakened Blows, Crazy self heals from Seal of Insight and Glyph of Battle Healer. The only thing we really lack is instant burst mobility like Leap or that monk roll thingy lol. During Will, obviously I'm not taking any dmg during the combo, and outside of the combo, the physical dmg is so intense its really where I get to shine. Ensuring I come out of the combo with 5 holy power and 2 Cd's and I take minimal dmg. This same tactic applies except the cooldown rotation is just more fluid and on use for stone guards and Feng. Major cd's and SoTR uptime are saved primarily for when tanking 2 guardians or right after the first tank debuff from Feng. Yes, Thirteen Thirty Seven was 25 man in Firelands and in DS. The GM himself doesn't want to be 25 man, he decided to do it because the guild wanted 25 man cuz literally of this reason: "we don't like seeing 2 pieces of loot" The 25 man wasn't prepared properly, it was rushed too fast, they aren't recruiting real players, they recruited level 85 friends and family and just told them to level up fast and then we'd trial them. And now that we are 25 man, they refuse to keep recruiting to replace the people that are causing problems. The other issue with the guild, is many of them are very very young, immature kids that goof off during raid time, would rather search for funny Reddit posts for everyone to read when we're trying to pull, and would rather make racist jokes all night long then take the raid seriously. Yes I like to have fun when its appropriate, but when its time to focus, i'd rather be with people that can understand the difference of when its time to get down to business.
  12. Yea my first couple kills I only missed a couple strikes, but I'm to the point now where I'm confident I wouldn't miss any. Especially for heroic where a miss just can't happen.
  13. Yea it was 10 man for our first kill and they were struggling with adds so we told the melee to stay off the boss to make sure strengths and courages were handled appropriately. Haha Awesome Midri, glad to see another Lightbringer
