  1. Elvui, Tidyplates. So I can see which targets have what in front of me. I know everyone has a use for DoT timers, or Spriest timers, but after testing and using them seemed to just be more of an annoyance on my screen. Especially since most are meant for single target. I hate to have to much going on my screen, I even toss combat text off to the right of my UI. Which I have been lately thinking of getting rid of. I couldn't sleep much either, finished some programming fun times for class. One of the healers requested that I didn't for heals unless they called for it. Just like VE I was saving it until it was called for. I never forget it is there, but most of the time it was not requested. I do pop it when I see heavy damage going out, on Wind Lord for example was using them as a CD to give healers an extra support on rotations. It was a test to see how beneficial 3 spriest tossing up VE would be. Cascade on Garalon on the last fight, I could swear I had Divine Star out. Perhaps a mishap. I know on Protectors I had forgotten to switch to Cascade. I was caught up in whispers and brain farted on switching back to it, while discussing the new spriest app they had so my performance on that fight was below my standard. I have been testing out DS more this past week since the buff and found it more beneficial versus Cascade on certain fights. I do know that on Wind Lord I did not want to use it in case of accidental CC pop. So I stuck again with DS thinking it would work best vs Halo only working at Max Range. Minimizing CC breaking was my main thought. The returns I was getting for Damage is decent as well as the Healing, which I was getting 30k Heals, and 50-60k crits, without raid buffs. I have not taken a look at it since however. Was looking at a personal log I took the other day. I used DS on pretty much every fight. The pug preferred to stack so much, it just seemed like default talent choice for me. So looking at the damage on Feng and hitting the number of hits I was getting for Heals and DMG was better then sticking with Cascade in that fight. Short CD allows for it to be more beneficial in my eyes. However, this is still a work in progress as I do not have enough data to even make it look relevant yet, in a 25M setting.
  2. No....no please I enjoy different point of views. It was more out of curiosity I have not personally be in fights where I found it useful, so HM's would be a different story. Besides I enjoy a good conversation and knowledge of someone else. So I appreciate the info!
  3. *I should have stated that I consider useful.* I would rather have the 15 sec off Dispersion, but I have never found myself needing that extra speed personally. I believe it just comes with flavor of the player. I do not see this as a game breaking mechanic in any of the fights. Especially, when I just choose the talent Body and Soul, for that moment I may need that burst of speed. As for personally only seeing 4 being viable. What are the others you are seeing as a benefit? Unless, you are mentioning the Mass Dispel, or VE glyph? Which I have not ran into a fight where I may need to pick those up specifically yet.
  4. Well, there are four Major Glyphs that are considered useful. Mind Spike, Dispersion, Mind Flay and Dark Binding. I find myself preferring the other three versus a speed boost on my part. Do I have it? Of course, but I have yet to make good use of it in a raid setting compared to the others. If I was to honestly change to MF glyph from MS, it would only be when I was no longer utilizing FDCL and going with Mindbender instead. Which I have done before and in some fights has proven more useful with a 1 minute CD versus a 15% proc. Still messing with it from time to time.
  5. I was in the same position you were in when I was starting out tanking in Cata. It honestly felt bloated...and I was using a modified UI that did not coordinate with DBM to well, but that was just my issue. Moot, but made me take a look at BW and just be much happier in the long run. Thank you Hip! My apologies I should have edited the post to include a link. Here as well: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/proudmoore/Dopef%C3%AFsh/simple Hello Merriwhizzle!
  6. Pleasure to meet both of you as well, Ashin and Inedit? I hope I got her name correct, apologies if not. It came down to having more awareness with BW. I have not used DBM since TBC. I changed over in Cata to BW, when I was messing with my UI at the time. I felt it to be more lightweight and appealing for myself. I also got used to the Audio cue vs the visual that DBM offers. They both I am quite sure are on the same level, but it will come down to the individual of which they feel is better suited for them.
  7. Thank you for the warm welcomes. Sorry for the delayed response. I ran into a Jimmy John's and had me a number 12. Fell into a food coma. Neg - Animorphs sounds kinky, but I will take it that it is a show? Yes, I do not watch much television so at times I am oblivious unless it reaches my PC. If it is a book, I give most authors a try. Ashin - You can find the info on what they are planning here: http://news.cnet.com...oogle-fiber-tv/ Do want. Twelvesoft - Certainly! DopeFalt+139sh is the only name. If you are speaking of BalllisticKai it is alt+0236 for the " i's ".
  8. Real Name: Bruce Age: 32 Class/Spec: Priest/Shadow- No OS to be honest I am no bueno on Priest healing. Prefer Resto Druid, Scammy and Mistweaving. Race: Pandaren Armory: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/proudmoore/Dopef%C3%AFsh/simple What I do?: I consider myself the oddball nerd. In real life my appearance is that of a football player. I keep to myself so everyone thinks I am quite the stuck up a-hole. Which to be honest I am just bidding my time for an actual conversation and not a flunky. Damn, this app sounds like I am trying to pick up a date. Meh it works. On with the show! I am 6'3", brown hair, hazel eyes/w glasses.... Oh yea I build PC’s as a hobby in my extra spare time. I also have a live stream that has taken a step back due to a move to San Antonio. I plan on picking this back up and if permitted may stream content, non mumble though if allowed if not, no biggie. Let us just talk for now and see where it takes us. Job: Infrastructure Consultant/Full time student – currently completing some certs. My own time and schedule and does not interfere with current raids that SoH is currently running. Experience: I have been an Spriest since Vanilla/Classic. I raided 40M minus Naxx, the guild I was apart of could never get enough people to make a decent push. Release of TBC, guild was disbanded, moved to a different server and worked to reach a top end guild. I also learned that 6 days a week was the standard at the time for progression. Completed TBC content pre-nerf’s. Only came back for Ulduar and returned at the end of Wrath leveled a bear tank and raided T11 content moved to Resto cleared T11 HM. I switched accounts leveled another Resto/Bear druid went into T12-T13HM’s as resto. MoP release came back as an Spriest only to have more then we needed in guild. Leveled a Lock instead, but moved back to Spriest again recently. Current content is 1/6HM MV, 4/6 HoF – 2% wipes on Amber and 3/4 ToES. Guild has more potential sadly there is a few hiccups holding them from progressing further and more aggressively. *My opinion* UI: http://i.imgur.com/KbSKO.jpg Addons: Elvui, Skada, Big Wigs, Tidy Plates, HaloPro WoL: Please note I changed the toons name recently from BallìstìcKaì to DopeFïsh. Not happy with the most recent log, but they are there for your viewing pleasure. General: http://www.worldoflo.../guilds/128551/ Recent: http://www.worldoflo...yipdck75oj3jrq/ Unsure: If you want my interwebs speeds or naw. If my net happens to magically implode. I have a fix to maintain a connection unless it truly is the end of fun times on this blue planet. I tether my phone just in case of mishaps, which with Commiecast has happened, but I am dating a new ISP...I swear. Time Warner Cable is not the best choice, but the only available in the area that puts out decently *cough*. Yes, desperation of decent net is wanting Fios or Google…someday. Dreaming for now. Mumble: I do have mumble already, as for mic use. I do utilize it during the appropriate times. I view it as a no go during raids, unless something is directed at me. If I have missed anything please let me know. Also would like to point out Ashin said Mexican food before ending our conversation. So now I am off to find my own treats to extinguish the empty feeling.
