Totally understood. If there are times that the current healers either say they are going to need some help because of some sort of issue such as ooming or other mistakes have been made, I do start to roll cooldowns. its never really been an issue as of yet. the only time I have run into issues is H garajal where I do roll cds on a regular basis (he ignores blood shield) The last 25m raid outside of LFR has been in ICC. its been a long time since 25s. and even then i was resto full time on the druid. In 10m i tent to hold onto the cds incase there is an " oh shit" time where they need to be used. ive done enough to know what the blood shield can deal with and as of now, its soooo op. But I am not against rolling them for heroics because of higher damage. Nightbane

well hello hip! first off, I started maining the dk about a month after panda launch. I chose to cut back on hit because 1 it is not a main stat for a blood dk. it ls almost last on the priority list. my threat comes from plagues mostly and once applied, they dont miss. being hit and expertice capped would 1. make my main hand hit more often increasing scent of blood stacks 2.damage done with heart strike (higher threat) and 3. crimson scourge procs more meaning more free D&D and blood boil. as for dps... im not very comfortable. i just started doign dps with the guild i am in now only because they told me i would not have a raid spot if i couldnt dps. so ive been working on it. its a work in progress. I know full well that im faaar from being an acceptable dps. i tend to tunnel while being dps. i often miss cds such as pillar of frost. and i use my cds when ill be taking damage that i know i will hurt. as of now on any normal fight, theres almost no reason to use defensive cds unless something is going wrong. my blood shield takes care of almost anything. as for addons for my cds as a tank, i dont use any. there are only a few i need to track so they are real easy for me to see. i have specific things macrod together so i do not have to press more then one button to get one thing done. such as death strike is macrod to blood tap so that i never have to press blood tap. death pact is macrod to raise ghoul so that it all happens at once. nightbane

Hello there! My name is Nightbane. I was notified on the wow forums that you are all looking for a blood dk. So here is my application! please forgive the format... I never thought i would need a resume for my wow characters.. in any case ive been raiding for 4 or 5 years now. for most of this raiding, i was a healer. This character is named " imadruid" on exodar. while raiding on this character, I spent most of the time leading a guild named <wrecked> on that server. For every content patch for the past few years, that guild was ranked 3rd on the server by the end. It is now time to move on and destroy heroic pixels!! I do not come to raid just for the gear ( it is just a bonus!) I, like everyone else, pays a monthly subscription for this game. I feel that im not getting my moneys worth if im not killing all the heroic pixels that I possibly can! As for age, im 25 years old, am not in school, and pay for my own interwebs. so there is no risk of me getting grounded and not being able to raid! I am currently leveling it as I write this application! You will find that I am far off from expertise and hit cap. this was intentional. when i was hit capped, i would pull off of the other tank without really trying.. so instead of making him fix his rotation, i fixed what i could on my end. if i were to come to your guild, i would consider bringing it closer to cap if my damage (threat) became an issue.
