  1. Hey Ashin, just had a more in depth Conversation with the Manager in Charge of Schedules. I basically got told that Thursdays are going to be a no-go for a while, in the future they might be a possibility, should we hire a new group of people, but until then, I'll have to be Scheduled as needed :/
  2. Hey Ashin, I spoke briefly with my the manager in charge of schedules, I was told that he could give me Thursday nights off for the next few weeks, but didn't want to make "Any Promises" afterwards due to a couple of big releases we have coming up since Thursday nights is our "Midnight-but-not-Midnight" release day. He did, however seem rushed for time, so I called and left a message on his phone, and am currently waiting to have a conversation where I have some time to "Make-a-case". Tomorrow (Wednesday) is one of the days he's always there, so I should hear back from him by then, and will PM you in-game, or post an update here, hopefully it goes well, and sorry it's taking longer than expected to figure this out.
  3. I finished High School Last year, I currently work at a movie theater, I get a weekly schedule and plan around that (Doesn't affect raid times, due to Availability Requests) When I'm not sleeping or playing WoW, I usually either go out and "wing-it" with some friends, or just stay at home, put on some music and browse the internet. As far as favorite "Real" Food goes, I'd have to say that I'm a pretty big fan of NY Style Pizza. I haven't seen an episode of Supernatural Fistweaving sounds interesting, but I'm not well-versed enough in monks to give an opinion on it. As far as a blood offspec goes, I'll be 100% honest here, I'm not opposed to going blood for a fight, and would if asked to, but I haven't played the spec since the days when you Stacked ArP and did DPS. As far as raiding as a DK, I started raiding very Casually on this DK during Naxx, before DK's came out, I didn't raid at all, and a Warrior was my "main" On the topic of would I be able to Commit? Yes, all I'd really have to do is switch out Sunday with Thursday on Work Availability and it would be no issue. In regards to raiding with people 25-35, honestly I don't think it would differ too much from the age group of any other guild I've been in. @Negido Hey Pessimist probably I couldn't dance to save my life, haha. I'm going with Gray I played Starcraft II For like an hour, I wasn't very good at it Shaun of the Dead Lilo and Stitch I don't drink
  4. Hi everyone, My name is Wildbery, I'm a DPS Death Knight, applying for the "Bench/Fill-in" position in your 25 man. I've decided to give myself Blanks to Fill in, in order to stay on topic and provide the information you guys want to see, so without further hesitation, let's do this shall we? Who I am Mainspec: 2h Frost Why did you choose your main spec?: 2h Frost is currently the Highest Simming Single Target spec as of 5.2 and on 9/12 fights in ToT Frost ranks on WoL are higher than Unholy ranks (Excluding East Asian servers for both specs due to 25 man iLvl difference.) not to mention that Dual Wield Mastery Frost fell behind on Single Target, and after the Slight nerf to secondary target damage on Howling Blast, 2h HasteFrost is the way to go from what I've seen. Are there any offspecs you play: I don't really play offspecs, although I do have a solid understanding of the way both playstyles of Frost, and a very basic knowledge of the "new" (Post WotLK) Unholy. Would you consider Changing your Spec to Perform better?: Absolutely, although I don't have as good of an understanding of Unholy, as I do Frost, I would have no issue switching to, and reading everything I can on Unholy should it start to outperform Frost So if you "know" Frost, then tell us a bit about it just to be sure: Basically for a 2h Frost Death Knight -Army is Cast pre-pull otherwise it is a dps loss (UNLESS there is a % Damage increase later on in the fight [iE: Elegon]) -Obliterate is top priority (Assuming both diseases are up for the % increase to Obl damage) -Frost Strike is your Runic Power Burn -Howling Blast when Rime is Procced, or AoE situation -Horn of Winter If your all runes are down and you need runic power to get the an extra 2 Charges on Blood Tap -Soul Reaper Takes Top Priority over Obliterate when the target is below 35% or will be within the next six seconds, Even with a Killing Machine Proc. To Clarify there are some things that not all Death Knights agree on and I would like to explain my choices for why I am specced and gemmed the way I currently am. Gemming: From time to Time you will see Death Knights using Strength Gems in place of Haste Gems, while this isn't terrible by any means, I've seen it to be a slight DPS loss. According to Simcraft, for me, 2haste has a higher numerical weight than 1strength on a "Patchwerk" fight, and that really doesn't change unless it's a constant heavy movement fight, where you aren't getting a ton of uptime on something. I go for the Haste gems, because while there are plenty of fights with movement, From what I've seen (And I've only Downed Everything up to and including Durumu) they are "Stop and Start" Kind of fights, meaning, while there are times, the movement isn't constant enough to warrant gemming for Strength. Spec: Another thing you will see, are Death Knights taking Unholy Blight, and Runic Empowerment as T1 and T5 Talents over Plague Leech and Blood Tap. Plague Leech and Blood Tap are the Highest Simming DK talents for their Tiers (PL-T1 / BT-T5). but they both require a bit more thought than UB and RE and if not used correctly (Plague Leech with a Free Howling Blast from a Rime proc and Plague Strike Right After, OR Outbreak for both diseases) (Not Capping at 12 Charges for Blood Tap) can turn out to be a DPS loss. I feel that, even though I'm not performing at a Simcraft-Robot-Level, that I can manage them well enough for them to pull ahead, and I personally like the playstyle of Blood Tap when in execute range as it makes rune management a bit easier grants you more control. Progression?: 8/12 - Throne of Thunder (Up to Durumu, and Killed Lei Shen With you guys.) 12H/16H - T14 Armory: http://us.battle.net...ldbery/advanced Logs: http://worldoflogs.c...t_Death_Knight/ (Currently 33rd, was 4th when Uploaded) http://worldoflogs.com/guilds/197411/ (Guild logs for other fights [No Logs are Uploaded by Me]) Addons?: DBM, Rogue Power Bars, Recount What Guilds were you in Previously?: I have been in <Amicitia> since Pandaria launched, and I have decided to leave after some leadership disagreements. So Why South of Heaven?: I'm Choosing to Apply for South of Heaven because I want to be in a guild that is progression oriented without raiding 5 nights a week, and from what I have heard the Environment is good. How did you hear about South of Heaven: I talk to Allaska/Staticpsycho from time to time and after making my decision to leave Amicitia, he informed me about South of Heaven. How long have you been playing WoW: I started as a very young, very Casual player in Mid Pre-BC and continued that trend until WotLK. During Wrath I wanted to do something more (Luckily considering the difficulty of encounters it was a good time to break into the raiding scene). Throughout Naxx and Uld I was in a very Casual 25 man guild that would raid Friday nights (No noteworthy progression, however.) Throughout ToC the Casual guild had disbanded and I only pugged up until ICC where I would find other players who, although they weren't cutting edge, put more time and effort in, and ended up (which I thought was an accomplishment at the time) downing Normal mode Lich King before the 30% buff hit full swing. In Early Cata our GM stepped down and most of us split up until a few members and people we'd pug with formed <Amicitia> at the end of Firelands. I eventually lost interest in Dragon Soul and ended up quitting, only to come back to the guild Personal Info: My real name is Cameron, I'm 18 and live in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and despite what this Application would lead you to believe, I actually have a personality. Overall I hope this application cut straight to what you guys needed to know, and I would like to thank you for reading this lengthy wall of text and taking me into consideration!
