  1. I would be available, yes. We have a guild meeting tonight and I'd like to have a chance to talk to everyone (not just the GM) and let them know of me stepping down before I make any guild change announcements. I hope you understand.
  2. Sorry, I have been a little swamped these past two days; my post generated much more buzz than I expected. I, too, enjoyed the interview. You seem like a nice lot and I certainly didn't feel tension when speaking with you. I would definitely be open to talking with Fulg again to see where choices/changes could be made. Let me know when we can talk more about this, I should be online all day.
  3. Hello, gents and gentettes. I am Lando, otherwise known as Demoralizer. I'm going to give you the quick rundown of myself. About me: I am a 22 year old fellow that enjoys spending many hours pretending to be a chicken-like, star-shooting creature. I like spending the late hours of the night sitting in Skype and laughing at "dumb" things. I spend my away from WoW time writing and working. Currently, I am laborer who enjoys writing. One day, I hope to be a writer who labors. While raiding, I will most likely be listening to Death Metal or Ambient music (I have wide tastes). My spec and why: l play the Balance Druid because I thought this would be a fun spec this expac. I like casting lunar stuff and whatnot. About my class, rotation, etc: I play caster dps within a hybrid class. As such, I have a lot a raid utility with damage, Innervates, Typhoon/Ursol's, and healing. Balance Druids are an easy class to learn the initial rotation, but it has many small things you can work on to truly push out larger numbers. The main things to know about Moonkins would be: 1. How to DoT efficiently and when to refresh. 2. Understanding the use of your non-dps abilities. (Symbio, Roar, Brez, Remove Corruption, etc.) 3. Realizing the importance of things as small as a GCD. The rotation for a Balance can change a lot depending on how lucky you are. More Shooting Star procs mean more damage. That doesn't mean you should go crazy on DoTs (unless you can effectively DoT with your GCD, more on that later.) but that you should have a methodical way setting up. Single-target is easy, keep your dots up and refresh at the last possible moment -while using Lunar Showers if you can. Then use whichever eclipse spell you can to move yourself along the bar. Multi-target really depends on the number of targets. At three targets, you want to try and maintain dots on three as often as you can, given you don't have a strict order to kill. Four targets, you can mostly follow the three target and move to a fourth if you have a SS GCD to switch over with. Five and on, it starts to get tricky. You want to keep your gcd usage more strict and dot with more control. Opening Single-target: Begin a fight one cast away from a lunar eclipse. Prepot at 3 seconds and cast Starfall. Begin casting Wrath so that it hits right as the 1 counts down and the tank is hitting it. (This puts you one cast ahead of your rotation.) Cast Starsurge (SS) and then Sunfire/Moonfire. Begin casting Starfire and SS when you can. Use Starfall when the previous one ends. Once you leave Lunar, use Celestial Alignment and move into your usual Lunar rotation. Towards the end of CA, refresh your double dot. One gcd for two eclipsed dots is enormous DPSe. Once it ends, you will move towards Solar. Once in solar, you will cast Wrath and SS when possible. Refresh dots as needed. Mid-fight/End: The rotation stays similar, you will always be trying to move yourself along the Eclipse bar and using the enhance abilities as much as you can. Because I currently use Soul of the Forest, the I am able to bounce between Eclipses at an increased rate. This makes for a steadier dps rotation and allows you cast Starfall (highest DPSe ability) more often. I believe that Soul allows for a more consistent dps with little room for error. Anyways, depending on whether or not Hero has been used, you will still have another potion. I use mine as I enter a Lunar phase WHILE Celestial is either off CD or a few seconds off. Pop Starfall, then move along through Lunar and use CA. Then move along your rotation as usual. Mult-target: It truly depends on fight mechanics and amount of adds. Fights like Stone Guards and Magaera are easily abusable by the Boomkin's kit. This style of fight allows you to dot multiple targets without wasting a GCD by overstepping the targets available*. Because of this, you will more often get the SS buff which will, in turn, allow you to reach your destination eclipse faster. We are by no means and AoE class, we are just very good at 3ish target fights. Hurricane is a rarely used spell. Ball Lightning is the first mechanic that comes to mind in this tier. *to be fair, there are times where you can SS gcd swap to a new target and get away with an extra set of dots, but this should be done carefully as to not waste usages. Defensive Cooldowns: Barkskin is your main defensive spell. Very short cooldown with a decent % reduction. This can be used more leniently if you have Symbio'd into Undending, AMS, or Cloak. Might of the Ursoc is honestly one of my favorite defensives. You can pair this with HotW nicely to become a spot tank for 45 second. The glyph can actually be used if you cannot Symbio into aforementioned defensives. Tranq is more of a raid-wide defensive. Use at raid leader's discretion. This is how I, personally, play Balance Druid. It may not be perfect, but this is the rotation/mindset that I have set myself into. UI: http://i.imgur.com/eiu5ixg.jpg A few logs: http://worldoflogs.c...359yqj6lufvt91/ http://worldoflogs.c...hdhoisvg627wp9/ WoWheroes: http://www.wow-heroe...ow/Demoralìzer/ My 20s got pushed to 30s and a 50 Sad day. Why am I leaving my current guild? My current guild is dying, unfortunately. I was recently made the ranged lead officer within the guild, but I am unable to hold it together. My GM approached me saying that either they go 10m or call it quits. I do not want to go down to 10mans. I find a lot less enjoyment in doing them. Why would I be an asset to South of Heaven?: I would like to say that I am an intelligent player who adapts to new situations quickly. I feel that I have a strong understanding of game mechanics and you will rarely find me dying to avoidable things. I often use whatever defensive cooldowns I have at my disposal. Feel free to ask me any question or share any concerns that you may have with my app.
