  1. @Terse, http://www.walmart.com/ip/Mega-Bloks-World-of-Warcraft-Sindragosa-and-the-Lich-King-Play-Set/21295677?adid=22222222227000000000&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=41833582510&wl4=&wl5=pla&wl6=19880599990&veh=sem And in relation to things fixing themselves, more times than I can count. 90% of it is based on the fact that when you start talking a tech through what you did to have the issue, you actually follow the "right steps" and problem solved.
  2. @Vanity, Or you can go 100% the opposite, with some cockyness added.... "Fear leads to loss, and we don't lose so why should we be afraid" LoL
  3. @Toobz I wont hold your choice against you, except a little bit. I currently live in Brunswick Ohio, 20minutes south of Cleveland.
  4. @Ivo Hey, It really depends on personal preference, if you are an Apple guy go iPad, if you dont need a standalone keyboard, I would lean towards a Galaxy Tab 3 10,1". For the mini-laptop keyboard needing crowd the Microsoft Surface Pro is actually really nice. I have a first gen Xoom, I used it about all of 3 weeks, I just don't find tablets that useful with phones being so powerful now. Winston Churchill i'd say, there is so much that could be learned in just a few minutes of time I think.
  5. @Vanity, Hey there how are you!!! Honestly I just love new game mechanics, and Wildstar has all the core things I love a MMOs but not totally a WoW clone, plus mastering a new healing class with Vansung is emmensily fun, we destroyed Rift with being one of the first to run the Chlorolock before they nerfed them hard. Thanks for the props on EQ, I worked 3rd shift then and was able to game while I worked, so I basically got paid to play 12 hours a day, helped to catapult me a bit. I also played on Fironia Vie a bit, come to think about it, if I could change my answer for the EQ question, it might actually be progression servers, if WoW had followed suit with those it would have been very addicting gameplay. Perfect Pizza: Lou Malnati's in Chicago, Pepperoni deep dish...so amazing. Its basically an upside down pizza caserole, baked in a stone oven to perfection...ERR now I want one! Change my Name: Tyrion??? How awesome would that be..... Seen anything wierd: Well there is a guy that walks around our town, dressed to the tee like a 80's hair band groupie...basically the male version of Tawny Kitaen...I wish I could get a good picture Dead or Alive: I could cheat and say the first person with conscience thought, simply because it would answer sooo many questions about creation vs evolution etc. But Nikola Tesla would be an interesting choice for a real person from history. I would love to find out if he was crazy, genious, or some where in between. I mean he worked for Edison, then walked out and started digging ditches...that would be a great convo. Thanks -Oxi
  6. @Manifold, Hey I played alot of UT but it was mainly LAN party, but Tribes is still one of my favorite FPS ever. I actually worked closely with the Fire Team Alpha when they developed the Rengades mod, which was great times. I've been considering trying out TribesNext just to see if it is still as fun as it once was. On that same note, planetside really had me excited pre-release, sounded like an MMO version of Tribes renegades...but turned into such crap =/ As for Wildstar mechanics, I actually didnt get to play the beta much, so I am not sure.
  7. Hey Eslosh, Lets see... 1.) Not very often anymore, I am on the development side of the house. so the question is "did you test that code or not" 2.) Dad's how to on healing MMO's, he will be the best healer on the planet by 10....thus is my decree 3.) I miss pulling mechanics, having a dedicated puller and raid used crowd control made for fun trash raid experiences, i kinda miss unlimited people outdoor world bosses too lol 4.) World of Warcraft legos, after we started playing again they were on sale, so we baught like $100 worth lol 5.) If it was going to be a long life, BBQ ribs...if it was a medium life: good 2in thick ribeyes....if it was my absolute last meal, probably as many pounds of alaskan king crab =) Friday wont be until late, I have a work event, but you will deff see me during the head start weekend! Thanks, -Oxi
  8. Hello, My name is Oxidious, long time gamer. My friends and I are always looking for a good PVE/PVP (especially WPVP) MMO to play, and have been constantly let down. Wildstar finally seems to be a game to fit the bill, and after the beta we are all excited to play. After deciding on the game the grueling task of finding a guild began, after alot of research we decided South of Heaven felt like the right fit, Vansung and Mobilefiber have already applied, now it is my turn. A little about myself, I am 35 and the Director of IT for a development firm in Ohio and I have a 2 1/2 year old. I have been gaming for fun and competitively for the better part of 17 years. Starting with Quake through Counterstrike I played near the top levels never making to the very top (this is very hard to admit LOL). In relation to MMOs I have played nearly all of the major ones, from the original Everquest to Tera. In Everquest I was an officer in Legacy of Steel, one of the 3 most successful guilds on the planet, I actually recruited Tigole (Jeff Kaplan), who would eventually become leader, followed by a much smaller accomplishment…Game Director and Vice President at Blizzard (whatever that title means). As with Everquest, in the games where I devoted a decent amount of time, I found myself as one of the main healers with guilds at the top echelon of progression, Warhammer, DDO, Rift, and WoW (pre-WoLTK) were the games where I ended up playing at high levels, but not never really as high as Everquest. Later during my MMO career, I began PVPing and found an excitement and accomplishment level just as high as when I played FPS games competitively. Since then it has been a mix bag, I still enjoy WoW arenas 2v2 and 3v3 (although being a priest is no where near what it once was), and I casually raid in a my own guild of 12 (we are 13/14 normal 10man), but we just started raiding 6 months ago when 4 or 5 of us decided to come back. After having my son, and my career taking flight my time to game is no where near what it once was, so for me the 2 most important things in a guild are: 1) the people I game with, they have to be laid back and fun, 2.) there needs to be a possibility of top end content (pvp or pve) with limited amount of time to game (mostly weeknights after 9pm EST) you want to get the most out of the time as possible. As for Wildstar I will be playing a Mechari Medic (no surprise there) down the Scientist path (group reinforcement summon anyone?) and am really looking forward to gaming with a group of good guys and gals. Hope I make the cut! -Oxi
