  1. I was just joking around. I found it amusing you had the 0 kids bolded, italicized and underlined. I also have 0 kids. I also own no bicycles. Seriously, though, nice to meet you, look forward to seeing you in game.
  2. Hello imartyr! Quick question: do you have kids?
  3. Ha! No, but I vividly remember those gnoll caves with the crazy trains. There was a wandering werewolf in one of the zones near Qeynos. Wandered the entire area. At least, that's my fuzzy recollection. It was nice talking to you guys as well. I've been catching up on a lot of my single player games on steam, PS3, PS4 and Wii the past year, but it's nice to dip my toes back into mmo space, even if I'm not actually in a group yet.
  4. Youngins today don't understand what a real console war was like. Truly, we were the greatest generation.
  5. Thanks for all the Q's! I'm going to assume you mean MMOs, just to narrow it down. It's already a pretty extreme list without going back to my sega genesis (Rise from your grave!). Let's see. My first MMO experience was EQ. I had never played anything like that before, and I loved how mysterious and dangerous the world was. I still remember wandering the wrong way out of Qeynos after bashing snakes and rats for an hour and getting torn to shreds instantly by a rampaging werewolf. I only quit when my grades started slipping, and I snapped the cd and swore off MMOs for life. The next MMO I played was WoW. Then Conan for a few days. Then WoW. Repeated several times until I finally lost interest with the second expansion. Then I played Rift for about a year. Then I took a break from MMOs until GW2, which I played for about a year I think, and still check in on now and again. Buy to play is nice that way. I love PG Wodehouse. I generally read old novels or history, but I also enjoy the occasional sci fi novel. Right now I'm reading a novel called Blindsight by Peter Watts. I like movies too, though lately I've developed the bad habit of playing Animal Crossing on my 3ds while watching 'em. Zombie Apocalypse? Just kill me. It ruins my day if I have to walk downtown to get milk. Rather than spend my remaining time hiking through the wilderness or city ruins with a bunch of armed survivalists, smashing in skulls and eating dog food, I'd prefer to stay in my apartment or just go to the beach. I'll live until my 3ds battery runs out (they last a long time!). I prefer Coke. But I like the diet Pepsi more than diet coke. I'm an enigma! Hobby.. pretty much this. I wish it was something interesting like restoring old boats or sculpture, but I spend most of my free time playing video games and text messaging. *sigh*
  6. I got into the beta and a friend didn't, so I used the code because I wanted to tease her with the NDA. I'm currently playing an engineer, but I've also tried several others. I used to be a raider back in my EQ/WoW/Rift days, but I just don't know if I can do that stuff anymore. I enjoy laughing and playing around with a small group for dungeon runs, but 20+ people, having to be all super srs for 4 hours while you practice boss strategies for server firsts? I'm too old. I enjoy PvP, but I doubt I'm much good in WS if the dumb mobs are anything to go by. Solo play is what usually make me quit an mmo. I'm a social moth. Well, related to beverages, in Pride and Vanity's old guild, I used to oversee Drunken Karaoke Night.
  7. Hello! You don't know me, but I've heard good things about you from Devon and Phil (I don't know their official guild names) and I used to be an officer in Pride and Vanity's GW2 guild until they got so sick of me they packed up and changed servers. I'm not good at talking about myself without the structure of an actual application, so please bear with me. Let's see. I'm still a WS noob. I dabbled with the beta off and on, but since release I've been distracted with other things. If I don't have people to talk to or adventure with, I tend to drift away from my leveling. What else... I'm old. I'm terrible. But I generally avoid red areas. Usually. Pick me!
