We use vent mostly for events. Trust me, guild chat is hopping most nights, and randomly through all the other times. I think I'm only alone from like 6 AM EST to 8 AM EST, and that's if Robillard isn't up and playing with me.

Yeah I'm switching my class now too. I just can't do what I want on my Assassin, we're not useful for group PvP (too squishy to be bothered) and my latency is so bad I can't possibly handle solo pvp much longer.

Hmm... everybody hates on 'sins. Mayhaps you are looking at the grass on the other side through amber-colored glasses...

So.. last night I was grindin'. And I had this post in mind, so I was kind of paying attention to how long it takes me to kill a same level mob. And it seemed to be 10-15 seconds or so? I was wondering, is this really considered much slower than most games? Honestly I hadn't stopped to think about it.

Wow. That's faster than I can kill mobs. At least at a sustainable pace, I can kill a mob every 20-25 seconds, without getting hit. If I don't mind getting smacked around a bit, it goes down to 10-15 seconds, but I can't do that more than once or twice without needing to rest. I usually just stick with my steady 30-second macro timer.

Depends on your playtime, and we're definitely glad to have you no matter what class you play, but we always need more templars (only class capable of main tanking) and clerics (only class capable of main healing).

That, honestly, is something that should have been in-game since the beginning. With the number of pre-orders they received they have to know they're making enough money to properly support customer service.

Think they will do another update in a couple days or should I just keep trying the same one I downloaded until it works?

It worked for me the 2nd time, after I closed every-freakin-thing, turned off my antivirus and anti-spyware completely, and downloaded it from the website instead of trying to update automagically from the nVidia control panel.

Robillard and I have, as he said, been kicking ass together for a good while. I think he'd be a great fit for the guild.

I was questing in Morheim and an Elyos decided it would be a good idea to try to run through a bunch of us. My Fire Harpoon was the killing blow.

Had a complete driver meltdown during a random cutscene in Aion, crashed the game, crashed the driver, I had crazy dots all over my screen as I re-downloaded and re-installed the drivers. Be careful with these, make sure they install properly.

I don't have Game Guard installed because I downloaded my client after launch, correct?

Hmm... I might have to download and reinstall, because I didn't notice much of a difference. Or maybe it's just my computer screwing something up.

RP'ers are funny. I wonder what manner of entertainment a guard was providing.

I haven't done too much crafting, but I think harvesting and doing every mission has my level one or two ahead of my quests, hit Mordheim at 21 and a half. And 5 runs through BCO probably helped quite a bit as well.

Heh, Fallen Earth made the list. Wow. Three cheers for Icarus Studios, getting their name up there with the big boys... sort of.

Eve is way more passive than this, and I feel like I can do a lot of other stuff around it. This is 1 minute out of every 4 minutes dedicated to clicking things.

The harvesting and crafting grind is new to me, and something I'm going to have to get used to. Aether harvesting is especially time-consuming, at least the regular harvesting nodes are spread out amongst the other... grinding you're doing.

I'm about to hit 48 hours in the game, and I have the attached impressions...

Difficult. Quest-driven but not quest-required. Too many nodes to harvest all of them. Sorcerors are the epitome of the glass cannon, and I would die constantly without CC. I like how you can circumvent aggro easily, especially with all the traveling. Flying is amazing. Aether is always too high up. BCO can be fun, but can also be very difficult depending on if there's a ton of CC in the party or if you're the ONLY CC. You have been playing for 13 hours. Please take a break.

That timer gave me an evil idea, and I think a few of you are crazy enough to pull it off. I want a screenshot of myself, and the ppl crazy enough to do it with me, with the 'You have played for 24 hours. Please take a break.' prompt. And I want it to be true.

And now it's an hour and a half later and the server's gone to shit again. While we were fighting a boss in BCO, of course.

I was in Altgard and it was doing better, about an hour after it went kaput. But I went to Panda and it was still crap, so I logged for another 15 minutes, and then Panda was fine.

I played as Cassandra, but despite several hours mashing buttons fighting NPC's, I don't consider myself anything more than the n00biest of Soul Caliber n00bs.

I'm in. And the transition from Fallen Earth to this game has me a bit overwhelmed.
