I'm not going to say anything.. My Dad was in the Navy and meet and married my Mom who was only 17. My husband was in the Coast Guard when we met.. I was only 17 when I got married. This is a nice girl and they are both older then I was when I got married. The service makes it easy to be married. I just hope they wait a little bit before I become that dreaded word. A GRANDMA!!!

The military gives the married person benefits way, way too easily. So many marriages start and end prematurely thanks to the extra pay and benefits you get from being a married person in the military.

But he is... He called his Girl after he called me. Then he called me again tonight.

Not a real surprise.. But between the end of Tech school August 27th and Deployment (1st week in October). I will gain a Daughter in-law!

If he's going to Incheon, we'll actually be less than an hour apart. So let me know if you need me to make sure he's not losing his mind.

So how far apart are the Air Force and Army bases in Korea? My boy will deploy first week in October, he has a six month tour:_mad:.
