I dunno about that Super8, it seems to "have a big scary" that goes best with snuggling up on the couch with the blanket cocoon, you know, the magical blanket cocoon where monsters and bad guys cant get you because only your face is showing.

The vet said they would call around 2:45pm with the test results...it is 5:14pm and I am still sitting here staring at the phone...waiting. They close at 6pm, so I'll be calling them again at 5:50pm. Even though we rae 98% sure it's negative, this last few hours is absolutely driving me nuts.

Great news! The test came back "undiagnostic". They said they only found normal musculoskeletal cells. She said the test suggested redoing it, but that it seems negative and just to watch it to see if it says as is or gets firmer or larger. YAY! Oh, and Dr said results came in THIS morning...hmm...was receptionist wrong or is she lying? At least it is over and Seth is okay.

Right, especially since they have the results right there. I mean, they could have called me at 5:59pm and been off the phone at 6:00pm. Seriously. Why do these doctors think it's just no big deal to leave you waiting and worrying. If it's negative, like Ashin's and like I'm expecting Seth's to be, you are still wound up and worried. I wasn't worried until I heard they HAVE the results..ugh.. /rantoff

Thanks Disco, and omg, I know Ashin! It only takes 1 or 2 minutes, even less! Just call, say it's negative, bye. Why can't the receptionist say "it's negative bye" I mean, she is sitting there staring at it. I'm pretty sure it's just swelling and inflammation from his arthritis and neurological issues, but god, knowing the results ARE IN but being denied the answer is just killing me. I'm 95-98% sure it's negative...but damn that 2-5% of doubt...

We are getting a new vet. I called at 1:45pm and they said they'd call me back. I waited until 5:57pm and called but they shut down the phones early. Can't take the 2 minutes to call me so I have to sit and worry all night whether he has cancer or not. I know they have the results in, the girl said they did! They just won't *$(%ING tell me. We are getting a new vet. I'm at the height of pure anger and vengeance right now.

Seth (my 10 yr old puppy) had a fine needle aspiration for two swollen places on his hip to test for malignancy. I'm sure its going to be negative since that is his bad arthritis hip its probably inflammation, but still have to wait til Mon or Tues to find out for sure.

That's great Disco. Seth is on Novox, Tramadol, and gabapentin; anti-inflammatory, moderate-to-severe pain reliever, and neurological pain reliever. I'm waiting today for the call, but I am guessing I will have to wait until Tues or Wed. We are not worrying a lot because I think it's inflammation of the hip, but still want the results over with. Thanks for the positive thoughts.
