We have a Border Collie named Charlie (least unique name ever) who's 8yrs old but with bad hips so he acts more 'curmudgeony' like a 12 yr old dog and we have quite possibly the coolest medium hair black cat named dash in the universe. You get one for your 30-day veteran reward (you may or may not have reached that?), you can get one for buying certain editions of Heavensward, and you can buy a further unlimited number for $10 each from the Mogstation.
