I'm trying to follow along with the EVE excitement, but I'm so confused about who's bad, who's good, and who's "us" @.@

all I know is there's some sort of galactic war and everyone's getting shot.

We range from chaotic good to chaotic neutral. And we're fighting against a lawful evil super power that has been unchallenged for years. The entire EVE community has only ever once before been involved in a server-wide war over the past decade. So this is historic, rare and exciting!
