I've practiced Filipino martial Arts for 3 years. It started really as a business deal, He wanted to train me, and then we would open a dojo together but that fell through when he had his first child. So i'm not upset at all at him . Kids>All But what I was taught was more than just the art, he created Filipino Arnis Combat, a hybrid style of mixed martial arts, mostly Filipino styled with a bit of Grappling, Kickboxing, and a splash of Ju Jitsu. My Stick is deadly lol, always wanted to say that. <----- for those that don't know an Eskrima stick is a basic weapon of filipino martial arts.
Edit: The thing i loved about FMA was the fact that I could carry my eskrima sticks in my car without no probs, kept 2, 1 on each side, inside below the door. The many times I got stopped, the cop would grab it, look at it, wave it around, look at me, and put it back without so much as a word, lol, Priceless...
