Hey there SOH!

I've been thinking about getting back into raiding, so why not check out the top guilds on the server!

Anyway, brief background on myself. I just graduated with two bachelors in Finance and Computer Science from the University of Maryland (in case there are any Terps in the guild!) and I'm finishing two classes this summer to finish out degree requirements (Shouldn't interfere with raid times, classes aren't until noonish and I'm only taking one class at a time). At the end of August I'll be moving to Seattle to start a new job. If you got any other questions, go ahead and ask!

Brief history of my experience: I "raided" back in Vanilla, aka I went to a couple raids and had no idea what I was doing, but was excited to be part of a 40 person event. I mostly PVP'd during BC and then I got into raiding for serious during WotLK. I can't remember what realm it was exactly, but I participated in heroic 10s and 25s. We didn't clear heroic ICC but we did finish 10/25 regular ICC. I only played enough Cata to get a character to cap and geared enough for raids. At that point I had a heavier load at school and couldn't continue playing, but I decided to start again now since I don't have nearly as many classes.

Recently I've been PVPing, so I'm not raid geared (but I'm decently PVP geared!), but I'm running dungeons to get my gear up to par. I've had experience DPSing, tanking, and healing raids, but I am more partial to tanking and healing. I have an 85 pally, 85 druid, 85 lock, 85 hunter on this realm and an 80 mage, 80 rogue on another realm that could be leveled if need be.

I liked that you guys have times that aren't ridiculous and you can still get results. It speaks volumes in terms of maturity within the guild. A lot of other guilds want to raid starting at like 6:30 PM. As I am living at home for the summer, it's kind of rude of me to run away from the dinner table every night to raid!

I think that covers everything. If you have questions, fire away. Oh, and sorry for the book I just wrote you guys.

Ah, alright, here's my armory. I don't have logs as I haven't raided on this particular character before. Here's a screenshot of my current UI. I'm not in a group in the screenshot, but I use Grid and Clique. I'm not sure how important Omen is to a healer, but I have used that before (don't currently have it installed). Currently I have a couple macros setup. Mostly to efficiently use my CDs. Mixing heals w/ Inner Focus, Spirit Shell/Power Infusion, and Void Shift/Desperate Prayer.

Hello and thanks for coming by to introduce yourself.

As far as I can tell, you've never been part of a competitive heroic progression, and the last time you did any heroics at all was late Wrath. You've applied on a character that is in blue gear, i472, with several pieces that are not even enchanted. And by the way you have never raided on this character before.

For the hours we raid, we are one of the top three 25m teams in the world. With all due respect, I don't know what you expect us to be able to do with your application. This isn't a place for beginners, folks who want to see if they like raiding, or someone to make his return to raiding in blue gear after a multi-year break.

Sorry, but I recommend you look for a team that is more casual and where you can make a meaningful contribution to their success. There are several great guilds that work toward more casual goals on our server. Good luck in your search.
