Industrial is usually a lot of process optimization for a manufacturing operation, as well as sometimes the designing of the manufacturing machines themselves. mechanical engineering doesn't focus as much on process optimization, more on the topics of physics, thermodynamics, and material and structural analysis (though civil engineers do a lot more structural analysis than mechanical's), to name a few. Though this response does kinda sound like a sales pitch, neither one is better or worse, they just focus on different facets of the broad topic of engineering. Ankin, I'm currently looking towards structures, though that is in no way set in stone. and yeah! aircraft design is like the coolest thing nobody ever talks about! already got mumble, so I'm looking forward to any upcoming guild events!
