Kiya
Hey there I'll start by saying I have come here from Wildstar (Widow) where I play a character named Kiya (medic) and have been playing with my husband Chaotika, and my dad Cromarti. We've played many games together including GW2, Swtor, WoW, Rift, Tera.. My first mmo was wow, and it is the game I've played the most. Its the game that sparked my interest in pvp and raiding. I was super excited about GW2 because I thought they had solved what had become so boring and routine about wow, and wow clones.. But then I found myself seriously missing the trinity, and finding that I need a carrot on a stick to stay interested at end game. So here I am in Wildstar, and could not be more pleased. This is the first mmo to come out, in my experience, that fully delivered and did not disappoint. However, I am also aware that your community/guild is an important factor in whether or not you stay interested in a game. Bottom line is my interests are pvp, and raiding, but I'm open to trying everything that wildstar has to offer like warplots, housing, etc.. So I'm hoping that some of you reading this can relate to my situation, and interests in game, and irl. I rolled a medic with the intent of healing. In the past I've created characters with a purpose. For example, THIS character is going to be my tank, or this character is gonna be my healer, or my badass dps etc... I'm finding in Wildstar that shit doesn't quite fly like that. Every class seems to be versatile, and meant to be played that way. Questing as a healer is impossible solo. & only seems viable if I were to quest in a group of 4-5 people. I look forward to learning how other medics in the guild play, and improving my own abilities. I have a long to do list in wildstar. I'm a mother of a two year old girl, and pregnant with my son who could make his appearance any day now. Needless to say, my playtime is currently limited. I'm still working on getting to 50, (38 atm) and trying keep my crafting and path (technologist/settler) up to my lvl. I've loved what I've seen from the dungeons so far. Challenging, interesting, and overall super fun mechanics. I look forward to seeing the raids when I'm a bit more available, and just participating in a guild who has some of the same ambitions. Not sure what other information is relevant to include, so I'll just stop there
Lindels
Nice to meet you! I'm still working my way up to 50 also, as are a few others in the guild, so you'll have some company there. Hope you get to meet your little boy very soon!
Tyrlis
Hi! We have lots of members with families (I have 4 kids myself). Congratulations on the soon to arrive boy! Last night when you posted this, everyone was doing their Sunday night Raid Prep Vet dungeons, trying to get silver+ runs. So that's why it might seem nobody answered. I'm also one of the late 50s, just hit 48 today.
Vanity
Welcome, Kiya. I'm very happy to read your introduction. I spoke with Chaotika yesterday and thought that your group might be a good fit for us as well. As Tyrlis said, we're working away at our attunement process right now and you'll see a lot of talk about that. No worries, though, about your leveling pace. I can see that things are quite busy for you right now. We all have times like that. Congratulations on the baby! We've had 2 summer babies, so far, in the guild. Need more pics! I'm going to send you and Chaotika a PM with some questions, so please check back for that soon.
