  1. Welcome! I'm not sure whether I would count Vindictus in true MMO history since it has no end-game, at least it didn't when I stopped playing it 3 years ago when the level cap was like 36 or something. It'd be like counting Neverwinter from Perfect World, no real end-game other than 5 man dungeons that are skip-able. But, to each their own. The real heart of the matter, what race did you place in WC3? There is a correct/acceptable answer and then everything else! Let's get to know you better! What do you enjoy doing outside of gaming? Camping? Hiking? Ultimate Frisbee? Butterfly catching? Prairie dog racing? Are you in college/school or the professional world? Do you like this meme? Why doesn't the English language 100% follow the rule of "i before e except after c"? Do you own any adorable pets? (kids could count, if they are adorable)
  2. Finally got around to uploading some of the photos I have taken thus far.

      About time, slacker!

  3. Mulan is totes a Disney princess.
  4. Welcome! Hunt seems to be opting out of question asking. Them be fightin' words. Are you just mad the Seahawks won the Super Bowl? Not saying I like them either, if anything I would be a Bears fan (got to support my Chicago team even though Cutler is just terrible). Do you participate in anything outside of TV and games? Such as sports, outdoor hobbies, Nessy watcher, star gazer, etc.? Are you still active in the military? I.E. do you expect periods of inactivity due to military things? What genre (or specific band if you feel the need) of music do you listen to? If you had to choose to become any Disney princess, who would you choose and why?
  5. Welcome! Ask Jack said, you're intro post is perfectly fine and early hooray(!) for your soon-to-be-born baby. We have no formal format because we like to get to know a person, starting with how they introduce themselves! We are free spirits; can't hold us to the typical mold for community (not just guild) application(s). This is why I need admin privileges. I'm awake while all you guys are sleeping! Get on this, Ashin. Anyways, time for many questions about many topics from many people, starting with: What kind of dogs do you have!? I love dogs. I miss mine D: She turns 11 in December and is a Jack Russel/Terrier mix. She's my baby and also my pride 'n joy joy joy. When you say guilty pleasures in cinema and reality TV... what shows/movies do you mean in particular? Details about what you watch! All the details. Any secrets we should know about you before your sister spills the beans? Good alcohol. So wine? Rum? Vodka? Whiskey? Beer? Sake?
  6. Welcome to the forums! An officer should be along shortly, after they rise from their slumber, to bump you up to Guest access. In the meantime: What do you think you'll be playing in WildStar? Are you interested in both the PvE and the PvP aspects of WildStar? Does your wife also participate in your addiction(s)? Gameing/flying/sailing? What is your favorite color and why? Chicago or New York style pizza?
  7. Greetings! Welcome to the forums! What was your raiding and PvP history in the other MMOs of your background? If you were co-founder with Oxidious in WoW, then I'd assume you have the nearly same background but it's always nice to see variations in experience. With you being an active reservist in the military, any foreseen future absences? Long or short term? Aww yeah, Counter Strike. I played that many moons ago with friends - I was always the terrorists because I liked their gun selection more. Chrono Trigger! I played that and FF: Tactics religiously for soooooo long. I then had to to move onto FF6-12, though I never got around to beating 8 and/or 9 before my new puppy, at the time, ate my discs. A few random questions! What is your favorite book(s), single release to series? Favorite Disney movie? Can you pop it, drop it and lock it (dance)? What is the most interesting gun that you've handled/fired?
  8. Don't watch it in English.
  9. Welcome to the forums, Joseph! It is really weird typing that name out (as it is also my own)! Good answer - it's not a sport anyways. *jumps behind a cement wall ready for the explosion* Oh man, senior year of HS. Best 7 years of my life. This was the better answer - for shame on you. Everyone should want to own the White Castle - their burgers are amazingly delicious. Hard to ask my normal set of questions to a member of the Fetus Club... Are you on any sports teams in your school? Have college plans already? Where you want to study, etc.? Major(s)/Minor(s)? Which school in Columbus!? My sister-in-law teaches at... uhm... I forget. I'll have to ask her.
  10. I pick up what you are throwing down. I love that it is has theory and numeric calculations, both of which are of equal importance. Real world application is amazing, to actually understand the world-wide economy (International Trade/Open-Economy Macroeconomics is my focus) is quite intriguing. I agree that we need to have an Econ Majors SoH club. What are you wanting to do with a Ph.D in Econ? Most people give one of two answers; teach or research. Occasionally I meet someone who isn't going into those (like myself!). Good luck with supporting your sister. I supported mine for 4 years (while she was in college) so I understand the burden. 頑張って!
  11. Welcome aboard the SoH train! I don't think I have ever met Rohj, so i'll go with what you say about him to be true. Is that teen that is learning to drive, soon, the one that likes Alan Jackson!? If so, I push for her to learn to drive faster so country music can get blasted out more than just my car radio! I could only imagine myself with a teenage daughter... *shivers* I grew up protecting my elder sister (we are only 18 months apart) because, lol parents divorce, so I already went through the protection phase once - wonder how i'd do at a round 2. I actually started thinking about what i'd be like as a father the other day after my last trip teaching English to elementary school children because I am old enough to where I could be their father. One of the girls was being teased about me being her father because she was showing me around the school. It was hilarious and embarrassing for us both but I had to put a to it. What do you enjoy doing in your own time? Reading? Watching TV?
  12. Welcome! I agree with you on the overly fruity beers except on one - a microbrewery outside Chicago that had a cherry beer with actual cherries floating in your glass. It was rather sweet but amazing. I was deeply saddened when they closed up shop. The few breweries I visited in Colorado were extremely heavy on the hops - not something I really like either. I do like hops, my usual go-to is Guinness Draught currently since I don't live near any breweries, but not when it is just to overpowering. In the words of Sheldon Cooper, "Not the dirt people!" We need more econ majors/degree holders.
  13. Welcome! This is a feisty one. Scrabble, eh!? Adding to Reign's question - Most points you have scored for a single word (since length doesn't mean highest points!) You like to cook? Well then, what will you refuse to cook!? Also, blarg. Another shaman. *mumbles under breath* Favorite movie? Paper or plastic? Matthew Broderick or Jon Cryer?
  14. Welcome!... wait... wait. There is another econ major! I'm finally not alone! Awwww yeah, lets get down like it's ERTA. We don't draw them ALL DAY LONG. We draw the graph(s) ONCE and then use that graph for 12098374087126359876 other things. What drew you to be an econ major? Are you like me and just enjoy pain/math? Any plans to do an MBA of something? As for your WildStar race, i'd go with Chua. It's the guild favorite.
  15. Welcome! Awww yeah. We need more southerners in here (and not Texans, no one needs those).
  16. Welcome! As Jackal said, no worries on the length of the post. That is nowhere near the longest we've had nor is it the shortest! Happy medium. You can also watch me and Vansung spar it out - bring popcorn because it'll be hilarious. What do you do for a living? Are you an outdoorsy type person? Since you have played a large majority of games, what would you say to be your favorite game to date?
  17. Welcome! Blarg, shamans. I despise them with the exothermic reaction of a super nova. Since you are 22, currently in school? If so, what are you studying? If not, what do you do? I've never played ME, ever, sell me on why it is your favorite game series.
  18. Welcome! I'll be by later with questions, time for Benadryl-induced sleep.
  19. Way to be like a true officer and delegate things to others. Now I have to go find it again! This is the original thread of our anime stuff, there is a second somewhere. Filipino! Right on. I follow a few *coughmanycough* blogs on Tumblr that are from the Philippines. I can't read 90% of what they blog but the anime gifs are amazing. Ahhhh yeah. Them slice-of-life. As I get older in life and I actually tend to watch more slice-of-life/drama/romance anime than shonen. That doesn't mean I don't love a good Berserk, Another, Blood-C or, since it is EVERYWHERE right now, Shingeki no Kyojin every now and then. [not naming my favorites, just mainly major titles people might recognize more than others] That Musashi Miyamoto. I remember watching a documentary on him, I think on the History Channel, a few years back. I never got around to reading his Book of Five Rings unfortunately.
  20. Welcome! I'll let others berated attack bombard besiege you with questions first.
  21. Welcome! ANOTHER(!!!!!!) anime fan. I'm liking this. Everyone has a guilty pleasure in music, mine isn't EDM, but nothing wrong with some EDM while doing some physical activities to get that motivation going. Only if he can sound exactly like Eddie Murphy AND do non-stop quotes. Where do you herald from? Describing yourself as Asian works but what nationality? Korean? Taiwanese? Japanese? etc. I won't hold you to such strict standards, so can you name top 5 anime series you enjoy? Have any anime guilty pleasures? (I know I do) Since you have sushi in your name, I take it you really like sushi?
  22. It's a deal. And after you kick my face into the ground a dozen times, we'll go out for beer and wings. I'm buyin'.
  23. I win. All the cool healers were paladins (sorry, Midri). Kitty and Cal got my back. *nods* That was just for the initial tier of Cata! I will admit that I actually switched to resto druid for that tier because healadins scaled SO TERRIBLY! Then we were unstoppable in DS. Quite
  24. Double post - I hate Japanese net, see below.
  25. Welcome! Teaching martial arts for 15 years, eh? I've been taking Aikido, Kendo, and Judo for 2 months now so... let's rumble.
