It's interesting, they look relatively well dressed for average North Koreans. Maybe they were picked and dolled up for the picture and only realized seconds before the picture was taken that it was KJU they were posing with. So they're surprised AND scared out of their wits. I'm amazed the NK didn't just hire models to pose with him in front of a random building.

Wifey (Orchid) is traveling to NYC today for a business conference, so it might take her a bit to respond. Mal, she's from Florida, but we were both stationed on Oahu from 2003-2006. That's where we met.

I think we should let her into the guild. Mostly because she's awesome, but also because I married her. Which I guess is a side effect of how awesome she is.

Glad to see you got back fine, though I'm sure it sucks leaving your Joes in-country. I stopped in Germany on my way over from Colorado to Afghanistan, and it only took two days to convince me - I'm going to try to get stationed there if I don't get to stay in Denver. Seems like a really nice country.

Back from a month in the swamps of Louisiana. Ft Polk is a hellhole. 3 months until Afghanistan. Miss you guys.
