To the guild hopping issue, I can tell you that I've been with Vs The Universe for about 2 or 3 years;until it broke apart. I am looking for a guild that I can call home, and that will have a special place in my heart, like VSTU; though it may sound corny, that's the way it should be once someone finds the right guild with a good group of players, a place to call home.

For a maturity level, I know that during raid times I will give every attempt over 100% of what I have; and play as though it is going to be a kill. I'm new to 25m Heroic Raiding, so i know it is a bit different than 10m, a lot different. But I am going to assume that this maturity issue probably pertains outside of raids. I can fully assure you that I will not disrespect SoH or bring "shame" to SoH. I will fully conduct myself as a gentleman at all times. However this doesn't mean Im not a fun guy to play with; its important to separate serious times and fun times.

On another note for a maturity level, it defines a very broad scope. I am proud to say, that I am not racist, ignorant, or sexist; and completely tolerant of religion and sexual orientations. I am a firm believer that if the line crosses into those areas, its gone too far; and will never be brought there.

Alright. I'm going to ask Fulg to have another look at your logs and give his review. At a quick glance, I felt like moonfire uptime in the low 90s on a fight like Jinrohk is not so great. There aren't many distractions from keeping your dots up during this fight, especially when they are instant cast and spammable during lightning storm dance. Thoughts on this?

If the logs are good, we can set up a mumble interview over the weekend and talk about a trial.

I've got some old concerns and some new ones. On the old concerns, it really does seem like you're not doing the basic level of research into Balance that is required. For instance, you are reforging a ton out of Haste post-breakpoint and dumping it into Mastery. Why is that? For the sake of actually testing your gear, I put your gear-set with current reforges into WrathCalcs, which is the gold standard for sims for boomkins. The basic results indicate that Haste is rather substantially better for you, point for point, than Mastery.

But that's all theoretical. Let's get into the practical/actual results you're seeing in fights. We're looking for DoT uptimes as close to 95%+ as we can get. We're looking at proper CD usage. And we're looking for overall use of defensive CDs and our hybrid abilities like Roar, Tranquility/HotW.

4/16 H Jin: 94.2 % / 92.7% -- substantial downtime during middle of fight, and some curious lapses near your openers. Also, you used your second Potion apart from CA/Incarn.

4/23 H Jin: You died early. 67.2% uptime for total boss and you lived for 71.8% of the fight. This means you'd be around 92-95% for the overall fight.

4/25 N Megaera: 89.6% / 88.6% -- This is a bit of a mess. First off, you're double dot'ing at all times, and even then not very effectively. For what ends are you dotting up the head that is not being actively DPS'ed? Once again, you used your second Potion apart from a CA/Incarn use. Only 3 uses of Barkskin, although you did use Tranq/HotW, which is good |

4/25 N Durumu: 92.1% / 90.4% -- Pretty large gaps in uptimes at seemingly very odd moments. | You decoupled Incarn/CA and did not use a potion during either of them | Very importantly, only 10 uses of Starfall. For an example, on a parse almost 2 minutes shorter, I was able to use Starfall / get into Lunar Eclipse 11 times. You seem to really love running up your Lunar Shower stacks and not actually getting to Eclipses. With the importance of the buff that our 4p gives to us tied to Eclipse, why is that?

To put this all in summary...I'm seeing some pretty okay parses with some very easy fixes that go to basic gameplay. We're talking about reforging (haste > mastery) and CD usage (lining up everything at once as often as you can throughout a fight). Looking over some of your H Horridon wipes, for instance, there are numerous cases where you will use a Potion when you have absolutely no other CDs up and right after a CA/Incarn has been used. It almost feels like you're wasting that vital DPS CD on these attempts. Your defensive CD usage is also mediocre to bad. I'm most assuredly not the best at this myself, but there are many progression attempts where you're simply not using Barkskin/Symbiosis'ed ability at all.

Overall, you're presenting a mixed bag to me. I cannot see many glaring mistakes (they're all pretty fixable), but I'm also not seeing anything that would make you stand-out in our raid team. Why should we bring you on as opposed to any other boomkin applicant? What are you going to do in raids that I'm not seeing in the logs, in other words? And what about your current guild is making you leave so quickly after joining them?

For my "reforging"; I usually use Askmrrobot, but was concerned about the way it put me 0.76% over hit rating; thinking it could go into a better stat, so i tested out WoWreforge lite, which is kind of crap; never got around to change it b/c i have finals this week.

I completely agree with you that haste > Master , nothing like a 1.9 sec starfire. Pew pew so hard.

For all the H jin fights, they wanted us to stand on the edge during the dance phase. so all ranged were away from the boss and couldn't keep dots up;its just the way our guild decided to do it, b/c some players are bad and dancing(shuffling twerking wobbling dougie xD Kate upton is hot)

4/16 H Jin: 94.2 % / 92.7%

The way that this guild did the boss, was that they dragged out the boss; and they wanted people to drop the electric balls on the outside of the area; so i believe i ranged the boss and dots fell off

For CD usage, it was one of those times where we were like an hour or 2 into trying to kill the boss, so i started testing different stuff out. I would save CA/incarn for hero/puddle | but i may have mishit my potion on my keyboard; ive done this a couple times, i try and prevent it.

4/23 H Jin:

I remember this 100% clearly b/c i dont like dying. It was during the 3rd puddle phase. Everyone was topped off , around 85% and for some reason I was hovering around 50%. I was sitting at 50% for about 4-5 seconds wondering why i wasnt getting topped off, and i took some splash damage and died.

I dont know if you noticed from the logs, but on 4/25 it was a really off raid day; the group only had 1 or their 5 core healers, so im sure you know but we wiped to N about 3 or 4 times. Isnt it better to sacrifice 2 gcd's to get like 3 or 4 instant starsurge procs? its more direct damage on the focus head? for BS, im truly working on it, usually i will pop on every stack up time, its just i was looking a lot at raid frames, just incase tranq needed to be used.

Im actually curious what do you during the maze phase? Let me know, I usually just leave a dot up and spam the other lit up dot , b/c boomkin moving = sucks.;

H horridon; i use symbiosis on mage to get mirror image to drop threat, if i somehow get aggro.

There seems to be a very big opportunity cost on H horridon; (dps boss or adds) (choosing to use certain defensive GCD's over "attacks); i can admit there are simple mistakes like lining up CD's but on the attempts i try and find out what is best for the raid, If some adds need to be down quickly i will use CD's in beginning, if not i will save for add's time. This throws off some of my timing, but ends up benefiting the raid. Idk if you looked too closely into the logs, but i used CD's in begging a lot in one raid, and used on first pair of adds in another raid. It depends on the comp that we were running at the time, and the imperative-ness of getting the adds down. I really dont take too much Damage on Horridon, so i dont really use BS too much; i try and save it for if something gets really bad instead of using it for a stomp and not having it up; just in case you know. For a couple attempts we would get to part 2 and a tank would die, If his stacks need to drop i would just run in pre-emptively and pop ursocbearOPstam/BS/HotW and try and tank for a couple hits until his stacks drop. - usually with some varying degree of success.

To answer your final question, Why you should bring me on instead of another boomkin applicant, i can tell you i am a 100% dedicated player. I know it sounds pretty standard, but i get my 3 coins every week; i did oondasta / nalak every week until i didnt need the gear; this often goes unchecked, but is really important in getting progression done, "free" gear is a big part of downing bosses.

My raid awareness is 100% always. Although my CD's might not always align, im always worried about wiping and when to use my CD's to benefit the raid. Whether this be using tranq and Hotw; on the 2nd door of H horridon, if we happen to have too many stacks of the poison debuff, etc ill know when to use it to always help out the healers. I am always concerned with spacial reasoning/awareness. Definitely on 10/12 boss and 11/12 boss. I know what the mechanics do and how far away i have to be so that the people all around me also have room do to what they have to do. This might sound silly, but i think it is imperative in a 25m raid to not only worry about one's self but also others so there is maximum performance for a raid. therefore building a better friendship and player base.

Other things you may not be seeing in the logs is proper buffs. Of course the flask/food; of course i have the ability to use the 300 food if an attempt calls for it. I do my daily to always get the iron paw token. When someone says a raid starts at 9:00 and we start pulling trash at 9, ill be 1/25 people with the flask on pulling trash. Kind of disappointing, but i do put the extra step forward in showing that i am a prepared raider. If we go over the time limit, and my flask runs out; i will pop the extra one, Therefore i use "twice" as many flasks as other people. Im always on time, i live by the quote of my baseball coach " if youre early youre on time, if youre on time; youre late". Being said, im in the instance at the start of raid time helping to summon other people if they are not there. If there is a reason why i cannot make raids, i will clearly let you guys know in advance in forums and other things. also reminding you guys so you know that i wont be there. However this should not happen.

Many people say that its just a game, but in a 25m raid if there are 24 other guys depending on you to raid its important to not let them down as a group b/c then youre wasting 24 peoples times. Personality wise, i think i bring a fun and positive attitude to the raid. I always am happy to raid and bring "enjoyment" to the raid if times are "tough". I think tinymanz can vouch for me that i am a fun player to raid with; he knows im a good guy at heart haha.

I think just morally, i can stand out from other boomkin applicants; just because im dedicated.

Currently I'm trialing with my guild; and i don't think its the right fit for me. They kind of lack a bit of leadership; its nothing against them, they are a good group of players, just not a good fir for me. They think im too serious for asking if everyone got their coins and are 100% ready to raid.

HotW does allow a non-tank druid to tank for 45 seconds. Expertise, Agi, Hit and armor bonuses, also grants Vengeance, and takes away chance to be crit in pve.

/edit: I say 45 seconds, but what I really mean is the duration of Might of Ursoc and Barkskin. B/c without savage defense you're gonna have a bad time unless you hit all the cooldowns.

On the 2nd week I did it on Dark Animus w/ modern, b/c we were still experimenting with mechanics. and just wanted stuff to die, so i got some of those stacks; worked out pretty successfully lol.
