Flyinshoe Posted April 15, 2012 Report Share Posted April 15, 2012 Well hello guys, My name is Pete, and my gamer tag in most games in Flyinshoe. I am looking to apply for your guild as a friend in your WOW division with the goal of working up to a raider status if there are openings available for the next expac. I have raided and am friends with a few folks from your guild who are listed as follows: JJones, Calandei, Inedit, and some of the other folks that have moved over as friends of theirs also. About me: I have been playing MMO's for over 10 years now. My MMO portfolio includes WOW, Guild Wars, The 4th Coming, Helbreath, and Rift. I have taken part in end game content for the majority of these games. My WOW experience includes end game raiding through all of BC and WOTLK, and limited raiding throughout Cata. I also enjoy competitive PVP, and have earned high arena rankings on my warlock including duelist in 3s a few seasons back. My gear isn't up to par with current content since I am coming back from an extended break, but I should be there soon! The character's I plan to bring are: Flyinshoe http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/stormreaver/Flyinshoe/simple - 85 Goblin Warlock for the purpose of PVP and occasional raiding. This is the toon I have most of my exp on for both pvp and pve. Flyinfatty http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/stormreaver/Flyinfatty/simple- 84(nearly 85) Tauren Resto Shaman for the purpose of raiding. (Would like this toon to be my main for new xpac) Flyinderka http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/stormreaver/Flyinderka/simple- 85 Undead DK Tank. An alt and possibly main if tanking is needed in the future. Personal info: Name: Pete Age: 27 From: Texas I am laid back, friendly, helpful, and attentive when it's needed. I have been gaming with shoe since the beginning of BC and he's a good player/guild member. Just watch out if he says "we can get glad easily with this comp!" We are currently sorting out what class openings we have available for Mists, where we will be assembling a 25m team from our two 10m teams. Resto shaman is possible - we're certainly coming up short on healers at the moment, although the roster is generally quite shaman heavy. There's something about this guild that attracts shamans! Warlock is also possible, although I'm not certain there. The DK is most likely flat-out; we're running a surplus of melee and tank interest right now. At this point you would be welcome to apply as a social member, but I can't yet make a commitment to a specific raid slot for you until I'm done working through my existing members. If you're comfortable with that, then we can have a brief pow-wow / orientation, and then I'd gladly invite. If these guys vouch for your gameplay, I'm comfortable with that, so it would purely be a question of whether your class choices intersect with our Mists openings. I haven't given up on our glad yet. :eek: Inedit, I am looking forward to playing with you again.. It's been an age! I still look back on those ZA runs as the favorite of my raiding experiences yet. Ashin, I definitely understand not being able to promise a raid spot for the new expac. Have to earn your keep! I am very open minded as to what class I can play. I have a ton of alts at the moment, and will actually be working on a priest or pally healer next. I'm leaning more towards healing the next xpac since that is something that is new for me, but I can do whatever is needed of me . To sum all that mumbo jumbo up, a social member sounds like a winner for the time being! I'm at work at the moment, but I will be on later this evening to chat if needed. Oh by the way, I also plan on playing GW2. So if you guys are plannin on doin a chapter there (Noting Fera's title) I will definitely check that out as well if the opportunity is there. Thanks!
